I get low fps and stutters when I have a good gaming laptop

Run hwinfo, click at the clock icon to reset the values.
Then play any game for some minutes.
Exit and check if there is throttling due to high temps.

Then you can see the maximum temps for cpu and gpu.

I would like to mention, that the technician also put thermal paste.

1) check your temps, clocks and gpu/cpu utilization
2) make sure the game is running on your 2060 and not the iGPU. Some games can run into issues when trying to juggle the workloads between iGPU and dGPU, you can look into disabling iGPU to see if that fixes it
Do you know how to check if the game is running with the igpu ??
Also i put some logs :)

Look into msi afterburner/RTSS, im sure theres tons of guides on youtube and it's overlay is generally a very useful tool. Make sure to download it from official site, which i think is guru3d

Maybe you are using the iGPU for games instead of the dGPU?

I wonder if maybe before there was some liquid metal applied that the technician removed and just used normal paste?

Any ideas ? After setting all graphics to low fps still go from 80 to 17 on Red Dead ?
I posted the HWI logs

Stop using laptop and buy real people computer...

Install msi rivastatistics. Enable overlay. Set up what you want to watch - gpu temp, ventilators rpm, cpu temp, usage of gpu and cpu, frametime, wattage pulling and many other things. By this you will see if you have throttling because of temps (dropping MHz for CPU and GPU).

I bought a laptop because i can bring it wherever i want.
Do you know if there’s any fix for throttling ?

At first you cpu is very hot and probably it throttles after some hour playing although it hasn't while having the hwinfo open.
Your gpu is throttled by power and its maximum usage was 60%. So you gpu can be nearly twice as fast if you unlock its full potential.
I don't know how to do this in a laptop because every single one is different. Some have options in their BIOS but most of them are rubbish.

To eliminate the cpu thermal throttling, you may use an external fan base for laptops if you live in a warm country and then play around with the BIOS settings so you can see what you can do about the gpu.

Okay thank you, when you say unlocking my gpu does it mean overclocking it ? (i am very bad at technology) Maybe I could find some tutorials on youtube

Ooops, sorry, I was looking your Vega gpu, not the RTX.

If the cpu and the RTX do not throttle at all, then you may have a software issue.
You can check the HWInfo if there's any throttling.

Also, make sure you use the RTX when playing a game.
Just in case the Windows messed up and put the Vega in front.

Wouldn’t underclocking also result in a performance drop ?
Do you see a performance drop in the video i posted ? do you see the 20ºC drop on the CPU and 7ºC on the GPU ? did you bother to click the link i gave you ? Try it yourself it takes you no more than 10 minutes ...

Thank you but no need to be this aggressive. :)

97C on CPU in that screenshot and even current is 96C, while being on the desktop.

Throttling is so bad the GPU can't max out, I reckon that CPU is barely being cooled right now. Open this puppy up and get something done proper to cool it... After trying to undervolt like @droopyRO showed.

I'm no computer genius, but this guy probably shouldn't take apart his laptop when he obviously has no knowledge of what he's doing.

Limit the fps in your games. Reinstalling windows couldn't hurt.

Or just buy a desktop. This is the problem with laptops.... not good for gaming.

You should be able to use the "Ultimate mode" on your Armoury Crate and restart your PC. It will force all games and applications to run with dGPU.

i will try to find it and tell you
Don't bother with anything else. It's your temperatures. They are so high that your cpu and your gpu are throttling down to avoid damage. No windows setting can change that. It either needs cleaning or repasting.

With that said, try to limit your cpu to 25w from the armory crate and try again, it should run better.

ok thank you, i will do an update

I dont know how to do it ? There’s nothing that allows me to limit my cpu

Try this perhaps
