The Galax GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super EX White features a distinctive white color theme, a modest factory overclock, and a triple-slot triple-fan cooler—all while maintaining the NVIDIA MSRP of $800. Additionally, it provides the biggest limit adjustment range among all the cards tested today.

  • PCB not white
I think I can live with that
The GPU (4070 Ti Super) being not worth the upgrade is the main problem. It's not a horrible product but for the price it sits in an awkward place in my opinion.

People just expected too much, thats it.

10% more cores results in 5% performance. Thats in line with 4070 SUPER release.

The higher bus and extra vRAM does little to nothing in most situations. Mostly you will see a 10% gain in native 4K gaming, yet most pc gamers don't play in 4K native (native meaning DLSS/FSR not being used. Which most 4K gamers do or will be forced to eventually - Upscaling matters and is here to stay)

I would think that people actually using native 4K would want 4090 or 4080/7900XTX as bare minimum. 4080 Super will probably be great at 4K native as well. Only for a few years tho, then you need to skimp on settings or use DLSS. Thats the life of 4K gaming; Compromising on visuals or upgrading every generation.

12GB to 16GB is nice I guess but for people using 1440p or less (95% of PC gamers) - won't see a benefit from this in several years, 12GB is simply plenty.

I disagree. If they're going to do a white theme card, the PCB needs to be white as well.
Sounds like you never had one of those Galax/KFA2 RTX40 EX cards. While I do agree that having a white PCB would be really nice, you won't really see many areas of the PCB once the card is installed inside a case anyway.

However, a white fin-stack is much more needed for those cards. On my white KFA2 RTX 4070 EX, I get a lot of annoying reflections from the LEDs below the white shroud onto the heat pipes and the outer fins. Those would really benefit from white color to diffuse those reflections.

On a side note, it really, really annoys me that the actual cardboard box and the foam inside are the same black as the regular KFA2 RTX 4070 EX cards. Only the print on the outer box was partially changed to white. The pink ones at least get a different picture on the box.

Sadly, Palit decided that Europeans aren't worthy of any white or pink KFA2 branded cards that are faster than a 4070, so I doubt that I will ever get this one in white over here.

Not personally. But I have installed similar card for a client. The model of card in that build had a white PCB. It was visible and matched the theming of the built. If the PCB had been black it would have stood out like a sore thumb.

In this particular case, the PCB is mostly covered up. However, for vertical mount cases, the part that shows will stand out. It should be white to match the rest of the theming. It's an important detail and can not be overlooked.

It's a box. You're annoyed that the BOX isn't white but you're not annoyed that the PCB isn't? I'm guessing you don't built too many custom systems...

Not for clients. As I mentioned before, I'd really liked it if the PCB was white, but for my personal white build, it wouldn't really make a difference unlike a white fin-stack. Sadly these Galax/KFA2 cards hide most of the PCB unless you run the fans with white LEDs and actually look at them at the proper angle. The Galax/KFA2 RTX 4070 Ti Super seems to be almost identical in that regard.

The thing about the boxes is that I own a couple of those 4070 EXs, and I have those boxes stacked up nicely in my office. It would just look great to have a proper white one in there. :D I'd probably even buy a pink version of those cards just for the giggles.

However, I really hope that the new Galax/KFA2 RTX 3050 LP with white PCB is actually a thing that can be bought, and not just a promotional giveaway for some overclocker event, like similar white cards in the past. That one I'd love to have for my white streaming box.

i have never heard of galax and there is no way of contacting them really on their webpage can this brand be trusted?
there is no registration or login on the web site for them and i don't like that.
anyone buy one of these?
the black version is on amazon for under MSRP and the lighting looks amazing, and specs are on par with the gigabyte version and i have tested that.
