Which new games will you be buying?

Crysis4! Can u run it?

I really hope Crytek is going to make something that makes them money this time.

I haven't been into gaming for few years now so looking into feedbacks till my 7800XT arrive.

As for now:

-Starfield
-Cyberpunk
-Returnal
-Hogwarts Legacy (maybe)
-Stalker 2
-Forza Motorsport

Also some CS2 catch-up with my old 1.6 crew :)

I'm putting Super Mario RPG on my wishlist after watching a streamer play this.

This is the 2023 remake for Switch of the original 1996 game.

I also want Red Dead Redemption (Switch port) but I'm not paying $50.

I'll wait for both to go on sale, probably sometime in 2024.

Alan Wake II will eventually go my Steam wishlist when its exclusivity period expires. I love the Remedy games but there is no way I'd purchase it on the Epic Game Store. Tim Sweeney can suck it.

[Edit: added Red Dead Redemption as well.]

First-party Nintendo games on sale? Good luck with that.

They all go on sale eventually in the US market, even Breath of the Wild and this year's Tears of the Kingdom have received some discounts (usually $10-20).

You can even get 5% discounts right now on Switch eShop gift cards. Patience is a virtue.

Deep discounts on Nintendo first-party titles are very rare but even GameStop is selling Skyward Sword HD at 50% off ($30 down from retail $60) as I type this.

I cannot speak about the Brazil market.

As I predicted Super Mario RPG has been discounted, currently on sale at $52.10 at Amazon for the physical media version. There's another vendor selling for $50.70. That's about 15% off. Unsurprisingly the digital version is at the full $59.99 MSRP at the Nintendo eShop.

I'm in no rush, my game library has plenty of titles I haven't played yet. I'll wait for even sharper pricing. I did not bother to look at other merchants like GameStop but I assume they have deals competitively priced with the Amazon offering.

I'm also going to add Tomb Raider I-II-III Remastered to my wishlist. This might be a Switch purchase rather than PC. Again, no reason to pay full price. A discount will come in the not-too-distant future.

Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail

:)

Even though these are not new. This might be the best Bundle on Humble.

Since Forbidden West is coming to PC on march 21 I will be picking that up on day 1.
Loved HZD when I could finally play it in later 2021 so I'm sure that I will have my share of fun with this one too.:)

I already bought Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, so that's me sorted for the foreseeable future because once you start a TR game, that's it.

Careful! HZD was a complete mess on PC at launch. Godawful performance, crashtastic, stuttering mess. I put it down and waited for some patches - the least of which that Aloy was drunk and there was a hardcoded camera drift bug so you'd be unable to run in straight line. Until it crashed, of course.

I eventually played it in a much better state and I'm very much looking forward to the sequel but I will definitely wait for reviews as the HZD PC port launch fiasco was one of the highest-profile disgraces that year.

Yeah I know, I've experienced the launch version of HZD on PC and it was night unplayable on my RX 570 at the time. Missing textures and all that crap regardless of the settings while it was ok on my bro's GTX 970.
I've went back to the game almost a year later with my GTX 1070 and finished the game with no issues.

I've had no issues with Sony ports ever since so I will give them the benefit of the doubt + the PC version is already the complete edition so I would hope so that it will be more polished.

None for now but I'll buy GTA 6 for PC on release....2026?.. Hmmm..:ohwell:

Man, I need to actually finish the first game until then. I'm bery close I think but there's so much fighting and I'm so sick of it.

I purchased my copy (smack for preordering games is due, I'll accept it) from Epic to dodge Steam Input's shenanigans completely, and also because I have Zero Dawn there, but I have a good feeling this time around. Nixxes is porting FW to PC. I'm more concerned about the longer term viability of Starfield and whether they'll be improving the game, I enjoyed it, but I can't see myself playing much further until the meat of the upcoming content comes out.

I bought waaay too many AAA games last year. Hogwarts Legacy, Starfield (it came free with my GPU), Jedi: Survivor (it came free with my CPU), CP: Phantom Liberty, Robocop, Alan Wake 2... I only want W40k: Space Marine 2 when it comes out, and then I'm set for the next decade or so. :ohwell:

I have completed Alan Wake 2 (not the newly added ending) but the original and let me say I was left at the ending with I wasn't done with the game so the feeling was like disappointment the developers ended it here really?

Same goes for Half-Life: Alyx "NoVR" where it goes "Status: Hired" what the heck to Valve mean.

I'm currently playing the new game +, or director's cut, or whatever it's called second playthrough, as I think the devs meant it to be played to get the full picture.

As for Valve games, they always ended on a cliffhanger, so what you're saying about HL: Alyx isn't new... oh wait... there's a VR-less version?

I was a bit disappointed with Alan Wake 2 (First one is one of my favourite games ever btw). Remedy now see Alan and Control as a single franchise so they will keep writing cliffhangers and making the story more and more convoluted to keep selling new games. I'm absolutely not a fan of this approach and "connected universe" stuff. Control and Alan were perfectly fine separately, and they add nothing to each other besides trite and ludicrous comic book multiverse bull.

On a separate note, quite interested in Dragon's Dogma 2, probably that's the next game I'm gonna buy.
