What are you playing?

Maybe the RT is on by default? Can't find any info, and I've searched the WWW for a decent amount of time. The only post processing setting is low-epic. And I can't find the damn cfg files anywhere, I know very well all of their locations in UE4...
Everything looks gorgeous though, until you start moving. :D So damn hard to stay on topic in here... Yes I'm talking about Riven BTW.

About half way through Canon of creation.

my adventure with BD-1 is almost over. game is longer than I expected.

I really hope they make a third game in this series with Cal starring, man its a great game series, I wonder if the team that is making Star Wars Outlaws is the same team that made these two Jedi games I really like... if so, that is def going to top of my wishlist, anyone know?

edit: nm i looked it up, SW Outlaws is Ubisoft, completely different team and companies involved. I will still keep an open mind to that game, but yeah these two games starring Cal from Respawn Entertainment are top notch.

I enjoyed this game too. The game never lagged, never crashed, and I didn't have any audio/movie issues. As for gameplay, sounds, and story it was good but the home base and cosmetic stuff was just fluff.

I'm on the last mission right now, and I agree if they ever do make a game three the rewards from treasure chests needs to be better. I never felt like going out of my way for it, the Jedi customization options for the saber were kind of lackluster.

the story has me a little irked right now (but i haven't finished the last mission yet), basically I don't understand why... well i don't want to post spoilers here, but yeah

its still my personal goty, i haven't had this much fun in ages. pretty awesome it was free for me on PC game pass (i got 30 days free with my new controller i bought)

Looking at this menancing Black frost lol.

My current squad to date, getting close to finishing my 1st run of Canon of Creation playthrough.
Just for reference, Artemis is a DLC from the base game, Nezha Taizi is new demon from Vengeance.
The Riders are also DLC demons from the base game.

Konohana Sakuya and Cleopatra was also DLC demons from the base game.

Beat Jedi Survivor yesterday, and it is my personal goty, and a 10/10 from me. I had so many emotions and one of the best boss fights I have ever experienced.

Dawntrail FFXIV unlocks in 30 minutes, so that is what I will be playing for the next month, :D

I finally have a shelter.. I know the game is early access but Valheim is still more enjoyable

And lastly a few shots of Children of the sun

I like this. It looks so simple but it must be one shot six kills.

12 hours straight in Dawntrail that launched at 5am this morning. I haven't stopped except for a couple exercise breaks.

Having a blast and loving this. The graphical update is truly stunning.

my 7800x3d has not gone past 61 celsius, 7900 xt not gone past 59 celsius 70 hotspot, and not a single crash, and the servers never logged me out yet either, same login since 5am :D

165 fps 165hz 1440p max settings, haven't even dipped yet on fps. this game is awesome, this is how you optimize baby!!!

That's on my to-play list. The original one was fun. I own the entire collection, including forgettable Uru. Though, Exile is still my favorite. I wish Cyan did that one as well. Heck, even the first one had like 3 remakes or so.

Meanwhile, I found a perfect game to get you off videogames :D. Started my first playthrough of Mortal Shell, and it looks like it'll be awhile...
I'm a total noob with no prior Souls experience, so that's quite a bit of torture for me.
Playing for almost 3 weeks now, only managed to clock-in 10 hours, considering I can't play for more than 30 minutes without rage-quitting. I already know Fallgrim better than my own neighborhood, but so far that's the only thing I can "brag" about :slap:
Oh, and I fed the giant frog. Didn't kill any bosses yet, nor did I kill any Grishas. Miserably failed at tutorial stage, and died at least 20 times before getting to the tower.

my rule for gaming is if I am not having fun I don't play anymore, and Souls or Souls-Like games just have never been fun to me, if its fun for you then that is a good thing, just make sure its actually you having fun though

in other news, i went from 5am to almost 11pm tonight in Dawntrail, 18 hrs straight, i haven't done that in many years... lmao i had fun though so hell yeah, time to go pass out and do it again tomorrow

That's the whole concept of this game - you die and you die a lot, up until the point where you are good enough to not die :D .
It's a relatively slow progression. There is no difficulty levels, and you die from 1 or 2 hits regardless.
Just for a bit of contrast with other games:
1) If we look at Steam achievements, this game only has about 13% completion rate, with only 20% of people getting as far as killing any one of the bosses
2) Even something as trivial, as getting an achievement for petting a cat(it's by the merchant in the abovementioned tower, the first location you need to get to) has 38% completion rate.
3) Regardless of 1 and 2, and game's minor bugs and glitches it still a generally well-received title (even amongst picky critics). I like it too. In fact, I like it so much, that I'd rather grind my way through the same location over and over again for 20 more hours, rather than, let's say, finish all DLC for Fallout 4.
It's a different type of game, with a different type of approach. First, you have to familiarize yourself with game mechanics, just to get to the tower. Then, you have to explore the map while grinding resources for new gear, shell upgrades, etc. And only then you move on to killing bosses. So far I'm on the stage II of this process, 'cause as I said - I'm a total noob, and I haven't played a single Dark Souls game or anything alike in the past.

Low key been considering Sekiro. Which asked me to confront the situation you are in. Either hang in there and get good or the alternative.

I have a lot of fun making music with IA.
I was joking a bout it 2/3 years ago ...
Now I can't believe what i can hear from
It gets what I want to listen to ... (or sometimes it's totally different of what I thought)
Honestly, it's better than a lot of real artists

i have been tweak the graphic option so much, but still, this game eating lot of my VRAM !
i am so worried that if this trend still continued (when playing for 2-4 hours straight), the game will reset the texture graphic option (again), from HIGH into Medium as automatically !

SaintsRow_Vulkan_2024_06_22_13_29_29_075.jpg

this game has much much potential, but today, the developer has gone forever, but the bug (the sound quality its very very LOW, eventough all sound option is HIGH and my speaker has setting to MAX level sound), its still there, there is NO update patch to fix that BUG !

SDHDShip_2024_06_23_16_23_43_415.jpg

this game its coming from 2014, but it has full support for all ultrawide screen resolution & support unlocked FPS !
its ironic that elden ring on 2024, still refused to full support all ultrawide screen resolution & force lock FPS into 60FPS (just like TES V SKyrim), why..... ?

I like the game but i feel too many similarities with Ubisoft mechanics from AC - FC games. Just enjoying the view.

Glad you came back and updated with the above.

Being a PS game port on GOG still requires separating itself in some way to be worthwhile. GoT, GoW, and Uncharted set a good tone I wasn't sure continued into HZD.

That whole Flower - Journey genre from the PS archives just isn't for me.

On the other hand, a hilariously bad upending the entirety of Batman tales into something around 15 hours of gameplay is so bad it's better than good. 1960's BAM POW WHAM all the way through increasingly gritty 80s and 90s plots and right up to the universe he existed in at game release.

Shame Telltale didn't get through another full release in this series. The only element missing is unflinching encounters displaying a deeper awareness of diverse cultures found in a large city.

Same for me. Just like the AC games, I get half way through HZD and I get bored and quit. Never to be played again.

@jormungand shadow of war and shadow of mordor are a couple of classics for me now. i love them. tomb raider 2013 trilogy reboot is also part of my new classics collection.

its unfortunately a very small list, there are more on it, but yeah

I haven't played it yet, but I replayed the original AC earlier this year and loved it as much as the other 4x I beat it. holds up well, and as long as you have 1440p or better monitor, and run it at native resolution - it looks damn good too. its wild to me how old games can look amazing as long as you run them at higher ppi

I'm still playing Dawntrail. Just skipping the story and focusing on my Paladin. Had this Paladin since original launch date and I want to hit level 100 with it before I quit, just for nostalgia sake.

Xdefiant. Free and fun!
