I pretend Internet Explorer...eerr Edge doesn't exist. Use both Chrome and Firefox for different things. Firefox has the ad blocker, but some sites won't work with it. Instead of adding exceptions, I rather just continue to blanket block it all.

Don't know how Brave is handling ads but it's awesome. Chrome/Firefox always seems to let certain ads through or the adblock extension breaks and needs updating every once often but none of that with come. I was amazed at how much faster web pages loaded without ads bogging things down and because of that I've never looked back.

FireFox personal, that M$ thingy for work, cause they won't let me use anything else and all their stuff is tied into it pretty deeply :(

I believe there is a portable version you can run off of a USB flash drive...

Surprisingly, even fewer bothered with Safari than IE/Edge. None.:twitch:

I recall having to support IE with some web frontend even a couple years back. It's then still in the specification. That's after M$ dropped IE, but corporate inertia goes far.

I also seem to remember how Firefox had performance problems in the mid-10's. That probably did not help when Chrome also just came out, though the details are fuzzy. It's great now.

I picked firefox in the poll but I use firefox developer edition, because 1) it's firefox and, 2) the developer edition lets me run unsigned extensions and I use the unsigned extension paxmod to give me multi-row tabs as god intended.

Primarily Firefox <3

Brave as the secondary :)

Edge as an adornment ;)

The M series laptops are quite good for browsing, coding and doing webdev.
You clearly didn't get the joke.
There are zero votes on Safari.

Chrome. Not because it’s a good browser, but because I find it slightly less annoying than the alternatives. I don’t particularly care about the “muh privacy”, so I see no reason to run anything else. That, and I find it inconvenient to have all my tabs and bookmarks exported and re-imported and then tied to some other account to use another browser. Ultimately, it’s whatever. All the majority browsers are Chromium nowadays anyway unless you want to go down FF route and deal with some weirdness there.

Firefox since 2004. Safari on phone.

Chrome... for the daily stuff

Brave.... personal stuff

Firefox.... launches with VPN enabled hence all things VPN related

Edge.... very rarely for family/guests. Other than that it just sits on my taskbar looking pretty

why just don't use Opera? same Chromium, same Opera...
AFAIK, Opera after version 12 removed all the features that made it Opera. It was also bought by another company.
Then some Opera people quit and started Vivaldi, and so it's the spiritual successor. Too bad it's still missing features, and it's heavier.

Brave.
Basically, since FireFox's centralized security certificate debacle.

i've tried vivaldi in its earlier stages (v 0.xx :D ), dunno what it is now lol but it was trash for me, far far away from original opera.
but, I like Opera even in it's current variant, though, gotta remove always STUPID VIDEO INTRO exe file:roll:

Opera because I really like those quick access thumbnails which for me is a stand-out point. Apart from that, one browser is very much like the other. Edge is good, but I don't like its nagging and the fact that you have stop it running in the background on Windows start-up. MS really likes to ram it down our throats, along with Bing. That, annoys me.
If the start page and thumbnails is what you like then try Vivaldi (atleast it's not owned by chinese spies) ans uses DDG as it's search engine as default search

You should try it again it's made alot of progress since it first appeared it's at Version 6.8 now Oppera is just another piece of chinese spyware now
