1.5 years ago i had multi 15200 points and 1950 single
and i see my ponts in cinebench after 1.5 years get lower to 14300 multi and 1880 single after clean my fans and replace Thermal cream i get now a lillte bettter
up to 14650 multi and 1940 single I add a picture see see the current

Do you think i have a problem with my pc? or cpu?

because its a big gap after clean and if yes What could be a problem do I need to complain to store? please help thx

note :I have been undervolting all cores by 35 in the past and continue to do so today.

What thermal cream are you using?

is the hardware clean or dusty and what cream - love that

What cooler are you using and what temps do you get? Since it is summer now (assuming you are from the northern hemisphere) means increased room temperature which can result in lower clocks if your cooling solution is already struggling. Alternatively more background apps can interfere with the benchmark as well, so try shutting down everything that isn't vital and see how high the scores can get.

Down by just 4%, could easily be background tasks

I'd not worry at all, and certainly not complain to the store.

the same one i used 1.5 years ago mx4

the same cooler pa 120 se

cinebench changes versions over the years... and everytime you run it you will get a varying result everytime

A few points less means you need to toss your cpu in the garbage with that reasoning

Oh, actually that's a paste. You might want to try a fresh batch of mx4 and/or double check your mounting pressure of your cooler.

Also 1.5 years is a lot of time for UEFI/BIOS and Windows updates to nerf performance a little as they try to fix bugs and security patches.

I don't recognize a "pa 120 se" cooler. Is that an AIO? AIO's may loose some effectiveness over time from liquid loss.

I swear benchmarks only exist to confuse the uninformed and to sell new products.

Stop worrying about your benchmark results.

Yes, the only bench that'll be usefull is the one launched from ingame menu of some games, it outputs FPS info so you can find options prefs that match.

Only true for certain BS benchmarks. Many benchmarks are actually extremely accurate and sensitive to changes. Such as Cinebench. Anything using background tasks could skew the score. And cinebench is considered accurate and consistent. So it's a viable way to measure performance.

It would be more helpful to inform the user some facts about benchmarking and how to achieve better results.

but in past it was like benchmarks

and i compare to my past it was a lot more

Salve,ointment,lotion, etc

Pick your topical

and again i replace lotion and clean cooler

OP, do a fresh install of windows (vanilla) & latest drivers for your hardware, test again.

Well, you probably have made changes to the software during the past 1.5 years that would use resources, or at the time of running the benchmark again more recently, something was going on in the background.

So to help, I'll give a starting pointer or two..

Double check the system settings are the same as 1.5 years ago and confirm. (for this case)
Disable windows update or "pause" it.
Secondly I turn off wifi
Then third open task manager and close user installed background tasks. (Like AMD noise suppression as an example.)
Closing all other programs on the task bar.
Disable system notifications
Disable system alerts

You can also use some windows based utilities to aid in benchmarking performance.
Such as Quick Cpu. This one will clean stacked memory and control core parking.
You can adjust performance and power settings pretty much on the fly, but all 3 individually.

Much of this should help with your scores. Probably cover the 1000 points you're missing maybe more.

But 6 mothns ago i did format to windows its not so old

You can not verify a CPU with a windows based software. Only via specific hardware level tools (which you cant access) can detect abnormalities.

Is your PBO enabled/auto in bios? Memory profile (XMP/EXPO) enabled? Fan curve change anywhere?

Is it possible you disabled anti-virus the first time and not this time?

Honestly this is well within margin of error and microcode changes over time.

Nothing to worry about.
