What are you playing?

And another Platinum trophy for a LiS title (the first one's remastered) in third night in a row. Let's go for Before the Storm remastered now.

And I'll be doing all this again on PC later.. I guess it's hella clear what my favourite game franchise is

Don't forget Tell me Why, in the same style, shorter to finish.

Didn't you hated the Chromatic Aberration in LiS Reamster, i did, a lot, after launching old version i prefered it.

I've played Tell me Why as well, hella similar what comes to playability and storytelling.

I actually don't hate that, somehow I feel that it fits on the remasters. Originals feels hella more nostalgic though.

Or perhaps Detroit: Become Human? I'm not sure how similar it actually is to the above, but I'm guessing it kind of is. It's an amazing game nonetheless.

Quantic Dreams made one good game only, this one ;)

Nah, I enjoyed Fahrenheit: The Indigo Prophecy as well. :)

It's French, that's why i felt i had to play it, it was a bad experience, one of the worst in my gaming life tbh.

Started a new game : Tokyo Xanadu (PSVita), the latest game of the Xanadu franchise (remember Faxanadu on Nes ?)
Well, 2 hours laters I remove it from the console as the game is cursed with something I hate : too much talking !
Honestly, on the 2 hours, I only play 15 minutes, the first dungeon !
The rest was wandering at school, in the city, talking with friends again and again ...
It's a obvious clone of Persona 3/4, but with real time combat.
The game seems good enough, runs well, pretty nice, combat gameplay seems ok ...
Too much read, if I wanna read, I'll take a book :)
a link if you want to know more about it, I'm sure some of you can like it !

Serves me right for being subscribed to gamepass, right?

Just finished playing this on a 3ds emulator.

So its a cliche weeby jrpg... whatever... it was still fun. And got surprisingly dark at times. Gameplay kind of fire emblem-like. There was a good amount of voice acting too.

Just finished Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception, I played it on my Anbernic at first but since I 'accidentally' play it oh hard it's very tough to play it on such small device (I got hand cramp, the joystick start to feel weird after the last mission) so I play it on my PC using PPSSPP and DS3 controller. This is the 6th Ace Combat games I play after 3, 4, 5, Zero and 7.

I surprised how good this game is even compared to bigger consoles. It features some new elements like ability to modify strangereal planes (that unique to AC series) like Engine, Wing, Armor, Weapon, Cockpit to improve it's performance, or to cater different missions (stronger engines but lacks maneuverability or in reverse, more hardpoints on wings to increase missiles but reduce mobility, radar jammer to reduce ability of enemy to lock on you etc.). Other new element is options to choose which mission to do first, that can impact how the story would go from there, helping here would benefit on the other mission, giving new parts to improve your plane, and hamper enemy from sending reinforcement on other mission. It's a nice touch from just finishing one mission after another.

I give this game 9 out of 10; gameplay is good, story is good, new plane is great, the ability to modify AC plane is great and the music is typical AC great music. I rated this above the boring AC7 on PC. One thing that surprised me is this plane called XFA-24A, this is exactly what I used to draw back then when I was a kid if I ever design a plane!

I still remember when playing that the first time in 2005, my chipset fan died on the middle on the game. Went to the city, bought a Zalman heatsink, installed that and continued the game.

I should also replay that, bought the remaster some years ago from Steam.

Straforce could well have broke the PC, it's the Denuvo's ancestor:

It broke PCs hardware !

I remember that crap. Actually even Denuvo is hella better than what SF what back in the day.

Got a no-cd crack for my bought games just because of Starforce.

Tomb Raider Remastered really is a gem, especially the add-ons.
Here's Lara in Stalin-era Cold War which I believe was a giveaway many years ago with The Times newspaper.

You always find circuit boards in the strangest of places...

Now let's platinum LiS2 on PS4. I'll just play this through using a trophy guide and without paying attention; I'll play every LiS later on PC with second screen turned off etc. nothing to distract.

I've played this before so this is kinda just a warm-up for the second playthrough on PC.

GRID 2019 and the other GRID games never disappoint. Just choose a race and enjoy, not to mention that the game loads without any fuss whatsoever.

Platinum'd Life is Strange: Before the Storm on PS4. Next on my list to have the same treatment for the remasters, but that's after I've slept, spent the whole night with that one. Luckily after a playthrough, you unlock the collectible mode, where you can just pick a chapter with missing trophies/achievements.

I'm far from done as I'm going to 100% these on PC as well.
Sometimes I'm glad that I've never developed an interest in achievements/trophies so that I can simply finish games and not feel bothered/burn a lot of extra hours in a game for that. 'Usually I don't even open up my achievements lists on Steam or anything'
I'm yet to play the remaster of LiS 1 and BTS tho its on my list cause its been a while since I've played the originals and I'm starting to miss it.:) 'I wish that I could delete those games from my memory so that I could experience them for the first time again..'

I may get a game I have on PC for console just to get trophies

And hella agree with that I could replay some games like first time again.

Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls were dope. Played both on PS3 and still own them. :)

Just picked up Heavy Rain to check it out after the comment you responded to since I hadn't played anything by Quantic Dream recently (wasn't interested in Detroit after seeing reviews). I had played Nomad Soul and Indigo Prophecy previously and liked those.

Then I think you'd like Detroit as well. Don't listen to the reviews, I'm sure all those bad ones were written by people who only know CS and CoD.
