Anything plugged into the board that requires CSM enabled, the board will always default enabled. Probably good to fill out system specs please.

First question, which was already asked, What mobo do you have?
Next, why do you need to disable CSM?
Finally, What happens when you set "Boot option filter" to UEFI only?

Once we know the particular mobo we can press on, inknow that sometimes reflashing the gpu with exact same bios has resolved issues with UEFI protocols.

While this is true and possible, that one setting needs to be set for UEFI before CSM can be disabled. That's not something general users know and would easily solve the problem. The screen shots were very helpful in this case.

Considering my mobo does default to CSM (fail safe mode). I must have been lucky that my gpu never needed a reflash for uefi to work correctly.

Maybe? I've seen this problem a few times and it's a simple setting to change and test.
I only can hope its not one of those mutant motherboards coming out of china...

What do you mean it doesn't post?
In UEFI mode it should still post but directly to Windows after a black screen, instead of showing the initial Post screen prior to Windows.
