Corsair 9000D RGB Airflow

It’s a cool case in terms of just sheer potential, but wildly impractical for, I’d say, 99% of users. And I thought my Torrent is fairly huge, this is just overkill.

This thing is absolutely overkill, even for an HEDT or workstation build. And considering the weight of this thing empty, I'm really surprised Corsair didn't include castors. Being on wheels would be the only way this thing moves around, and no way in hell is somebody getting this on their desk.
This is the desk, just put your monitor, mouse, keyboard on top with plenty more room for anything else that lives on top of your computer desk, you'll need a tall stool to sit at it though

Would've liked to see this tested with the 21 fan mounts all occupied, just for the absurdity of it all.

Maybe a secondary quick-review with just whatever 120mm fans you have lying around? Pretty please?

Nice case. Don't see the purpose of the little ITX part, but it fits the idea of excess that the general product exudes. Considering how few fans it comes with, the cooling performance wasn't bad. Probably if it had a full fan setup it would be near top of the cooling performance charts.

I'm very disappointed at the price of $499 usd and not having 2 x 420mm radiator at the top and front. If this was $299 I would say is okay but at $499 we expect premium.

Sucks that cases have become so expensive these days. Cut the price in half and I'd get one immediately.

On the other hand, it would look funny to have this behemoth next to your monitor. That would probably dwarf a 32" monitor easily.

It's not only that, but you'd have to consider the weight tolerance of your desk, too. Fully loaded with multiple radiators and custom cooling, this case is probably close to 80 pounds. You have to consider this weight plus whatever else someone may have on their desk.

~36kg... nah, my desk can stand me without issues (80kg) :D
