Haven’t used there liquid coolers but they would know what there doing. Dynatron has been around forever and there bread and butter is fans. If you’re trying to cool a 1U 1000w psu that fan is probably a dynatron. They do a lot of work for super micro too.
it looks like this is somehow supposed to replace the fan wall behind the back plane board but a stock photo is a stock photo.
I would make sure it will fit but I wouldn’t think twice about using it.

Did a little digging for specs. Pump is weak 29L a minute, which is about 45 gallons an hour. I use a 10$ submersible pond pump at 110GPH. In comparison to a custom loop pump like a D5, that's going to be up to 280 GPM. Has a typical cold plate cu with plastic cover. Pump placement is ugly, but probably designed for U2 fitment.

yes sir, that is how it mounts. i'll probably remove the backplane completely since i won't need it for this. There'll be plenty of room.
that is pretty much the score, but it's rated for 300w, so it should cool a 150w Xeon W-2245 nicely. Not really gonna get too extreme, but i'm itching to playaround with a xeon, and aio, and throttlestop. see what kind of boost clocks i can get. I have used plenty of Dynatron fans and air coolers over the years, and have always liked them.
What got me thinking about doing this was the thread about the EPYC 9965 (in this sick amd prototype rig)
Yeah, but they are 8000 rpm fans. Dynatron been around a long time.
