Ooof.

$25 is almost quadruple the cost of my go-to fan (P12 max) which has a Zero-RPM mode, a much wider RPM range, great performance on radiators at lower speeds, and whilst it has a closed rotor which is the other way to solve the problem that LCP rotors address. Oh, it's also using double ball bearings which means it should outlast everything it's cooling, which can't be said of most fluid-bearings.

$36 for 5 fans, vs $25 for one makes it a no-brainer, but the other problem with a $25 fan is that most of the chart-topping fans are in that price range, and this ROTA Pro isn't a chart-topper at any point.

These fans spend a lot on the looks-factor, seems like, so I'd bet on these selling off of social media presence and the 5 billion 'clean build bro' comments on any pure-white fishtank PC. Just has to be cheaper than Lian Li/Corsair/Thermaltake's eye-pleasers.

Won't the pure-white fishtank PC crowd freak out about the grey LCP fan blades not being white?
IMO they do look pretty clean but there are cleaner fans out there both in terms of colour but also in terms of looks and cable management.

I actually like the 2-colour white and grey - what can i say, i'm a man of aesthetics!

I agree with Chrispy_, Arctic's MAX and non-MAX solutions set a high standard in value and performance which makes it hard to justify higher priced newcomers that don’t bring standout features or added value to justify the premium. If I were building a white setup today, I would have easily considered multiple of these white fans but @ $25, no thanks!

Thats me! Which is one of the reasons I invest in well-ventilated cases with 360 degree fan mounts for multiple affordable fans which are not reliant on 'best performance' but good enough to dial down the fan curve for whisper quiet performance + uncompromising airflow.

There isn't a shortage of fan brands on the market, but at least TRYX are making the sort of fan that we need more of:

No-nonsense, quality construction, decent performance, without proprietary rubbish and without RGBLED detracting from the rotor's swept area and wasting valuable real-estate in the hub or frame.

Price is always a tough one and they'll struggle to get good pricing without the economies of scale that larger companies use to their advantage, which is the catch-22 in competitive markets. Still, this ain't a bad fan and if they improve on this with the next iteration it might make it into the hallowed "worth the price premium" performance tier where profit margins are huge.
