Review CORSAIR Vengeance RGB RT 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 4600 (PC4-36800) C18

Tested with ASUS X570 DARK HERO 5950X CPU , also Corsair tested with hero , DARK HREO came out about year later .
I will share my results , DOCP is all that is needed to boot up, with exception , NO OC FOR FIRST BOOT , make sure it runs well without errors , stable check ! now CPU OC , the way I went about this , PBO auto vs ASUS DOCS with water cool preset or normal , pulling almost 300 watts with 90c ,even with Arctic III 420 with push/pull fans is a bit to much for day to day use , instead I went with just ASUS DOCS with custom settings , 4400 and 4375 with 1.275v , -7 all cores , Memory at 4600 Cl18-22-22-22 -36 for day to day use.

That is hell of impressive for AM4. You are less than 1 Ghz away from the base of AM5, with half the latency.

Funny thing is, off line and no third app , other than AIDA64 ,66 is best so far,

Which IC, Micron E? Stable? Don't be afraid to loosen primary timings further like 20-26-26, ect, if needed. Will they do GDM off?

rRCDWR might be able to drop to 10.

18-22-22-22-36 stable vs stock 18-26-26-26-46 , no GDM , hard lock .

Will try 4x16 , this Saturday !

4266CL16 4X 16GB , just installed and so far still working on it , will let it run for a few days .

@harm9963 have you performed any stress tests? Also see your in UCLK/2 mode. Basically this is worse performance than just running DDR4-3200 instead.

Just got it today , Testing now , UCLK/2 mode will look for it thanks .

guys i few a question about this ram, do you think i can use it with my z390 aorus master motherboard?
second would i see any benefit moving from my 3200mhz with my 9900k? for gaming because there isnt any real benchmarks out there

The only reason I went these sticks is cause Corsair used and show in spec , a X570 ASUS DARK AND 5950X , that being said , I would not recommend .

this will yield more e-peen than performance, for AM4 its always best to stick to 1:1 for memory and fclock

4 sticks not so easy , but did compare , other than benchmarks, have latency close to two sticks, yes read and write went down, but overall for day to day and 4K gaming ,no change , it's amazing to get 4 high capacity sticks at this level , have not seen anyone ,other than me with this setup.

Temps do go up, about 5C, so I order a Corsair Vengeance cooler , will help for more control testing in a few days.

I used to run a 3800CL14 quad stick Samsung B-Die Patriot Vipers, it was literally easy and yields lower latency (I was around 52ns on Aida) and was a tad better on the bandwidth numbers you have, higher isn't necessarily better specially for AMD Ryzen.

16GB x4 is a different animal, I still have my Patriot Vipers 4x8 4000cl16 or 4x8 3600cl14 B-Die , 4266cl16 x16GB x4 is on a other level!

2x16 vs 4x16 , the real difference is 4600cl18 is read vs 4266cl16 62500 vs 65800 ,other than that ,the same , heat is the other, concern , which is why I order a Ram cooler.

4 sticks samsung b-die, its from my old system. already sold them as I quite beta testing crap for AMD during those "hype" days.

8GB stick or 16GB or 2x8 4x8 cause 4x8GB is not the same as 4x16GB ,to get all four
16GB module at my sytem level, is very specific, Corsair Vengeance RT 2x16 4600cl18 was tested in-house by Corsair with with ASUS X570 Dark Hero and 5950X for a reason .

Viper B-Dies only come in 8gb per stick AFAIK.

I kinda see where you're point is at with the thread, its just its not any faster if you pursue skewing the fclk, uclk, memclk ratio's at least for zen3.
