KFA2 RTX 2060 Mini BIOS Update to Non-mini version

Hello :)

Recently I have bought used KFA2 RTX2060 Mini (product number 26NRL7HP09BK) - https://www.kfa2.com/kfa2/graphics-card/20-series/kfa2-geforce-rtx-2060-mini-1click.html
Which is not even available in the TechPowerUp database :D

I was confused a little, because I expected that this card will have stop-to-idle/0rpm feature as was mentioned here in KFA2 RTX2060 review (not mini): Galax / KFA2 GeForce RTX 2060 1-Click OC review - real savings buns or forced minimalism? | igorsLAB | Page 6 | igor´sLAB

So now the question: Is it possible to update BIOS on my GPU with version from non-mini variant from the review ?

Official KFA2 page does not have an updates for my card, only for the reviewed one, non-mini version of KFA2 RTX2060:

2060 1660Ti 1660 Bios update

Fan stop/stop-to-idle feature is crucial for me, that's why I would like to update the BIOS.

We can't guarantee it will work, and it might possibly brick your card, which then you would need a system that has an igp or a spare gpu to recover, or a green pcb spi flasher

Open gpu-z, get a screenshot of it, then click the arrow next to the uefi checkbox and attempt to upload the bios to the vga bios collection, you should receive a prompt stating the bios is already in the collection with a link to it, copy and paste that link here.

Upload your screenshot here, also get a pic of the white stickers located on the back of the card

Also last i recall gtx 1000- RTX4000+ you cannot mod the bios, only crossflash it

Other solutions to your problem is to sell your card and get 1 that has that function, or put a fan on with a rheostat/potentiometer and external temperature gauge

I would just use software honestly, it isn't hard at all, and you wont brick your card.

Doing this is not like updating your mobo bios :)
 
Your card pulled up several units using the same device id and subsystem ID.



Make sure they have 1 HDMI 1 DP and 1 DVI-D like the file you uploaded earlier before flashing otherwise a brick could happen
 
Is it a good guide for it:
This is out of my realm of safety. I do not flash cards unless they request to be flashed, like EVGA through their software for example.

He now has a slew of bios to try and I gave a warning about it, we are not responsible if the card bricks.

The biggest problem is people dont research the product they are looking at first to see if it has functions they need or want, with that they shouldn't be trying to flash anyway
