The coffee and tea drinkers club.

I am too lazy to brew coffee myself, so if I get any it’s from a coffee place near work. They do good stuff, my preference is a big cappuccino with ground peanuts in them and a shot of chocolate syrup.
I now need to do some experiments with peanut butter. Thanks.

I drink so much tea (like 6 mugs a day) that there’s no point in being a snob about it.
Samesies. Sometimes it's more than two gallons a day.

I cut down a bit in the summer when I switch to green tea since otherwise I would spend half a day in the toilet pissing like a race horse, lol. That stuff is great, healthy and refreshing, but a mighty diuretic.

You could try that, yeah, though they use literal peanuts they grind down into powder, not butter. That makes the beverage quite chunky. I assume butter would have a similar effect.

though they use literal peanuts
Last time I used third party elements in my tea it was a scallion. What a nasty taste that was.

Coffee works better with additives, yeah. Though I do sometimes put some honey into plain black tea if I am feeling under the weather, that tends to create a nice flavor. Sugar I just never use, don’t like it. Some people enjoy jam or preserved berries in their tea, though that also isn’t my thing.

The qahwah doesn't work for me at all. I also not a huge fan of mixing tea with whatever but bergamot and scallions are exceptions. One is highly pleasant, relaxing, and another just takes your balls with force and makes you scream. I suppose I'm just morbidly masochistic.

I personally go for a double shot of espresso in the morning. With the water turned up so it's like an extra strong Americano.

And then another around 10AM. We have one of those full automatic espresso machines at work. And hand-roasted beans, as one of the owners runs a coffee roaster as a hobby job.

Oh, and I generally drink my coffee black.

Depends what I'm feeling during the day, If I have choice to get expresso I will, now at work some days I drink coffee black, or with sugar/light cream. Circle K has some good convenience coffee, better than any starbucks.

Speaking of pb, have you had boiled peanuts?

Yep. Don't care for them, I like my peanuts cruncy and salty.

Anyone here tried death wish coffee?

Although, I admit, Arabic coffee isn't for everyone. Me included. :p Too sweet-toothed to appreciate it, I guess...

Dark (although the definition for us doesn't rule out sugar) coffee with spicy ginger under tree shade in a scorching day > whatever slop y'all imbibe north-west of this globe...

Some of the best coffee I've had was in Eastern Sudan (then again, it's a stone throw away from where this thing came out in the first place). They mix black pepper with it.
Beja people are so addicted to the thing, first thing they do when they wake up in the middle of absolute nowhere is to get a fire going and start brewin'.

Personal favorite beans are Ethiopian single source with an espresso roast. Not sure what farm exactly.

I also am genetically Arabic (dad's from Syria) but I never inherited his love for coffee (he also never got time to teach me the language so no, I can't understand your mother tongue). Not Arabic, not Turkish, not whatever coffee, any coffee feels lame no matter what I try. Tried dark, tried void black, tried super strong, tried soft, tried with sugar, tried with milk, tried with milk and sugar, tried cream, tried wine, tried other stuff, nothing made me like it. It's just... like eating literal crap, really. That's why I decided to resort to other drinks a dozen years ago when I last sipped it.

Just add vodka to it, at a certain point you stop caring what it tastes like. Big brain move.
No, actually, don’t, I tried that and it doesn’t actually change much - it’s still coffee. Just with vodka in it. Although rum and cognac do actually work to alter flavor and ARE a viable ingredient on a cold day.

That's an insult to vodka. I only drink it pure. Crystal. Clear. Nothing can interrupt its taste.

"Give me coffee, and nobody gets hurt"

"Coffee speaks, I listen"

"I like my coffee to be the same as my women....HOT, rich, smooth & creamy"

"If you wanna come to my house but can't bring coffee, then it will be safer for you to just stay home"

"My coffee is to me like a .44 magnum is to Dirty Harry"

"The ONLY 3 words I wanna hear coming out of your mouth are "coffee" and "more coffee" !

"There are 2 kinds of people in this world....those who drink coffee, and those who drink ALOT of coffee"

Shall I continue ?? :D

As for tea, I do have a cup now & then, but my main choice for it is iced with lunch or dinner.

Don't bother me until I've had my coffee

There IS no taste, unless it has flavorings. Proper vodka shouldn’t taste much of anything mate. Stop buying cheap stuff. I am not saying you should go for Beluga Platinum or anything, but come on.

As long as coffee hasn't been through the stomach of some animal and then pooped out...

I tried Kopi Luwak. Was the most expensive cup of coffee I ever bought. Didn’t much care for it. Would not recommend.

Recently I started drinking black tea to reduce my caffeine intake.

I did clean a few days ago the teepot with some sort of "soda"(i only know the german word for it). It looks the same again after a few days.
Please excuse that I drink my black tea from a beer mug - without sugar - lemon.

I bought that teapot on impulse several years ago.
What I really like is the metal filter insert for the tea.

Last time I went on impulse to the asia shop in Vienna, the capital from Austria - central europe, and bought black tea. I have to drive to the capital for quite a while. There are no asia shops around where I live.

I have to find maybe a better solution to store the tea. Currently I use a IKEA 365 glass with a plastic lid.

honestly this was the first time I used "soda".
I used a spoonful of that Soda and filled up the teapot and the metall insert with hot water from the "water cooker"

I think it was more than 4 hours left alone in the sink. Than i cleaned it with a paper towel. Than I used hot water again to wash again the teapot and the insert.

I was just curious. I had bought that product on impulse before even knowing for what I will use it.

I do use amazon.de but with english: (i had to reupload that photo - i forgot to remove the postal code)
