NVIDIA has launched the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti today, lifting the review embargo. The MSI RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X comes at NVIDIA MSRP of $750, yet includes a small factory overclock. In terms of performance, the Ventus is able to compete with RTX 4080 Super and RX 7900 XTX.

Not bad, if the price will actually remains at MSRP.

Christ, MSI, what is this dogshit cooler? If we take the two cards reviewed anyone who isn’t raving mad will take Galax 11 times out of 10.

Are you sure it shouldn't be "taking a beating by RX 7900 XTX"?

Not sure how this title makes sense. If anything, this is competing with the cheaper 4070 Ti Super in price and it's barely any faster than it.

. I expect more. This is the only game i have. Low hardware requirements

The game selections heavily influence the relative performance.

Some nonse games with over 250 fps i would remove from the game selection

The average 140 fps in whqd gives a better impression as the product delivers

I do not want to see 55 fps in whqd for a 750 us dollar graphic card. The estimate price of 1000 eutos can not be verified as of now

When i see 140 fps average i expect at least 100fps or more in whqd. Bad game selection or generation for average fps.

55fps is most likely 40 percent of 140fps

One kilo implies a small cooler and bad cooling performance. Better for those who look for a light card. The galax card has 0.25kg better cooler.

Seems msi does not only made bad 3 fan amd graphic cards which are insanely loud.

Fans at 2500rpm during load is crazy. Like did nobody at MSI during quality control react to this?

This is so fishy, this is not funny. I remember when Nvidia gave an 8800GT priced at 250 usd and prior to that, that kind performance was 600 usd, that was amazing, after that everything has been slowly going towards to incredible distrust and the milking is abundant.

Are you sure the DLSS 4 charts are correct? In the 3 out of the 4 titles, the 5070 Ti is faster than the 5080.
Ah yes, I wanted to add a note about that. Looks like some improvements in the newer driver

COuldn't you reduce the fan speed with MSI's own Afterburner ?
Of course, there are many manual tuning options. The vast majority of gamers will run their cards out of the box, so that's how I'm testing them and will call out manufacturers for bad fan settings

The *retail* prices are nowhere close as listed online already. Some are over 1k usd. :kookoo:

Looking at the prices at Best Buy and Micro Center and all of the aib's have lost their mind. lol Looks like I'll be holding on to my 4070 Ti this round.

Do you guys remember when the GTX670 was faster than a GTX580? Or when a GTX1070 was faster than a Titan X. Those were cool times.

Makes sense. I skimmed the review, but if that wasn't specified already, perhaps you could have mentioned that manual fan adjustment with Afterburner was a possibility.

It's right to point out MSI's bad factory settings, but since a solution exists to mitigate this issue, it's worth mentioning it as well. Especially for the people who may find themselves buying this card, whilst not being aware of the possibility to adjust the fans' settings.

with the price of a 4070 Ti for me atm ... (1300 ish, which is about the cheapest 5080 price ) i doubt the MSRP will remain :p , it would match the price of the RX 7900 XTX model i have 2 weeks before i bought it

well, given the price i paid minus the resale price from my previous GPU, (cheaper than the MSRP price of that 5070 Ti), i am kinda glad i can skip this gen for both brands

a, most likely, more expensive sidegrade (5070 Ti), an overpriced marginally better one (5080) and getting some report (well ... they are not single case scenario at least ) of doa and cable melting (again...) doesn't really make the 50XX series appealing (not even considering the 5090  3500 ish chf my, oh my )

AMD's side is, well ... RX 9070 XT, i would considere that one if i still had an RX 6700 XT 12gb (although not if priced like an RX 7900 XTX )

yep, nothing exciting GPU side :ohwell:

The biggest positive that the 5070 ti's has for me is that it has 16gb and DLSS4, but I'm really scratching my head at why the 5080 doesn't have at least 24gb.. maybe they are holding off for the 5080 Ti or Super.
