Need original bios

I bought this sapphire RX580 Nitro+ 4gb from a seller that told me he had modified bios. (both)
I can't seem to find a matching bios (with the same PN), and the gpu only posts in gen2 pcie (another gpu posts in the gen3 on the same motherboard). I gues it is a bios issue.
On the pictures the old bios is modified, it has a wrong PN numbers.
Can someone provide an original bios and help me resolve the pcie issues?

Both bioses are available in the bios collection. What you currently are trying to do is flashing a quiet bios over the performance bios...
Are you aware of the bios switch on the card?

Did you read the mini flash guide of eidairaman1? Be aware, you must use version 2.93 for force flashing a Polaris card.

Thank you, I'll try flashing these, although on the site, the pn number starts with 199, not 299. Does this really matter?
I am sorry if I am wrong, I honestly have no idea what am I doing.

Bios part number != hardware part number

"E366" which is listed on your PCB, cooler and in the vbios is important.

Ok I suggest you return that card and buy a brand new in box RX 6600 and not screw with bios flashing, it is not for everyone.

I'm not trying to be rude, but maybe there is a reason because I bought an 8 year old gpu? The rx6600 is 300$ more that the rx580. And if I am buying a 40$ gpu, it is clear that I can't afford that. Again, I'm not hating, just exploring my situation. Thank you for the advice.

Both bios work, but the gpu still doesn't work in the gen 3 PCIE. Does anyone know a solution?

When do you see it is running gen3? Is the card idle or has it load?
If it is within GPU-Z, press on the question mark to start Render test to generate 3D load.

The card is not detected when running in gen3 pcie, and it doesn't post. Once it posted, but after restarting the computer stopped working in gen3 again. It works fine when in gen2. When in gen3, only the internal gpu posts and boots to windows. I know that performance difference between two generations, isn't the biggest, but when in gen2 port, it has restricted airflow. That's why I want it to work in gen3 port.

Tell us more about your system specifications. Which motherboard and processor do you have?

The motherboard is an msi b85-g43, with intel-4590 cpu, 16gb ram and a 750w power supply. (I know that the cpu will bottleneck the gpu.) The gen 3 slot is not broken because it works perfectly with a zotac gaming rtx3060 ti.

Did you flash the motherboard bios?
Could be an issue with gop part of the vbios. You can try gop updater on your graphics card.

Okay, I'll try the gop updater. I have updated the motherboard bios to the newest version on the official website.

I ran the bat file, selected my bios, updated it, and then flashed the new bios to the graphics card. Nothing has changed. Still working perfectly in gen2, but not posting in gen3.

Can you make a clear picture of the PCIe interface of the graphics card? A capacitor could be nocked off.

Lots of dust and thermal pads/paste. You also see some liquid around the PCIe interface.
This is not normal. You need to clean the PCB.

Not like it being dirty can stop it from working in gen 3 slot? Also it has been running furmark for 1h without any problems.

Its not about the dust! Its about the state of the card. Its abnormal.
Did you noticed the liquid like residue on the PCIe interface? Clean it up on both sides!

If the PCI-e contacts are dirty, it will cause abnormal behavior!

I cleaned them with alcohol, and contact cleaner spray, but still no post. Cleaned the dust too. I don't have thermal pads now. Which thickness should I use?

Missing thermal pads should not matter for a post. Do you have (Canton) tape?
You can try to put tape on pin 33 until 82 on the PCI-e interface (both sides) and you will force the card to run in PCI-e 3.0 4x mode.

I don't have canton tape, but I have regular. Thermal pads are all there, but some are stuck to the heatsink.

I can't seem to find a pinout that I can find the pins. Can you send me the pins you mean by 33-82?

You need to count the pins and put tape on both sides.

It's alive! It is detected with gpu-z, msi afterburner, does the gpu-z render test, and runs furmark. I guess it's actually bad that it runs this way because that means that the x16 lane is broken? How much performance am I gonna loose if running it this way? Or is there still hope for fixing the x16 lane?

Likely one of the traces which is now disabled by the tape was causing an issue. Performance drop for PCI-e 3.0 4x mode is less than 5%.
You can try to tape only pins 50 till 82. If it works, your graphics card will be running at x8 mode.
