Sapphire Radeon RX 9070 XT Nitro+

Any news when to expect other RDNA4 cards' reviews?
If you like, I can write you a few lines on the PowerColor Reaper soon, but on Linux.

Sorry, guys. :ohwell:

I wouldn't mind. Performance is more or less the same. The most interesting info to me is cooler performance (temps, noise). So please, highlight that area :D

Will do. :)

I'm expecting it to arrive sometime today. Cooler performance is what I'm most curious about myself. :D

I just hope Linux/Mesa driver support will be ok on Bazzite.

they keep putting them online, two at a time, if you are quick you can get it
At what price tho? I'm not paying more than 750€ for it :D

The most interest I have are precisely those 2x 8-pin cards nearest to MSRP: Reaper, Pulse, Pure.

These amazon listing are 3rd party (scalped) sellers.
Amazon the scalper :rockout:

I was specifically hunting just for the Reaper, being the only truly dual-slot card. I didn't even have the list of products open, just the product page itself at Oc UK and Scan. This was the only way to get one at launch. Total madness.

Sold by Amazon? Bastards! :shadedshu:

What a freaking LOL :D

OC UK had great prices and good stock if I saw that correctly on their forum. Too bad that do not send out of UK an IE for us peasants in EU :D This situation is the same horsesh1t as crypto-mining craze 2020-2022 only without crypto-mining. RTX 4000 and RX 7000 was smooth sailing compared to this now.

Oc UK had about 4000 RDNA 4 cards altogether. They expected them to last several days. They lasted several minutes.

Cheapest I could find online, going to go for 894,48 €, available after 17th of March :banghead:

Edit: Probably going to wait for NR INFO (official XFX storefront on Amazon) to put them on sale. Yesterday it showed they will be available after the 31st, but the info disappeared after a couple of seconds so I might be onto something. Don't tell anyone please :respect:

IOW, I last longer during sex :D
They put up pretty good anti-bot measures but still, stock was depleted very quickly. Next batches arrives next month or so. Vast majority of cards were those shipped before CES in Jan 2025.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiit, I can buy them cheaper over here at retail and that shit is already like €100 above MSRP.
Yeah man, idk what's going on.... I was so hyped to finally upgrade my 6800XT and now, well, nothing. Entry level Sapphire Pulse was my target, when I saw the price of 690€ I was so happy...

So, as PF has noted, occasional "FSR4 beats DLSS4" moment. Antialiasing seems to be superior:

FSR 4 => FSR 3.1 => DLSS4

Pulse was listed for €870 at x-kom.pl. I would say that getting them from Poland isn't a great deal, at least not now (and we always have worse prices than for example in Germany).

It takes a lot of luck, but NF INFO still seems to work.

I just did it, perhaps its the first restock

Wouldn't it be better to first overclock the memory as high as possible, then go with core clock (possibly try increasing power limit to see whether it helps) and in the end start lowering voltage?
This is just my guess based on experience with RDNA 2 where overclocking memory while slightly underclocking core clock and massively undervolting it brought the biggest uplift.

For these high demand and limited to 1 per household items, yes they will request photo ID. For items which are not in high demand, ID verification is not required.

I dont use apple pay so not sure how that works. Does Apple pay share photo ID/address/etc at the time of purchase? If not, I'm guessing a photo ID will be necessary.

I see this 1 per household on every GPU and CPU even old ones from year ago. I haven't been asked for ID yet for that particular purpose. I have been asked for ID a long time ago when making a CC purchase. I declined. Cashier called the manager who knew it was against a store's contract with the banks to ask for IDs. After I told him I'll just call my bank, he acknowledged they can't ask for IDs and just let me make the purchase. They're asking just to grab some personal information on you.

I'm all digital now. I don't carry a wallet anymore. 90% of the stores I go to accept NFC payments. Apple pay does not show your CC #. The last 4 digits passed to the scanned are the device ID. Same CC will show different digits on each of my devices so they can't even track it that way. I also like how MC tries to associate the device ID with someone's CC in their system. I always get asked if I'm so and so.

€860 for Pulse, €930 for Nitro+ in Poland, that's with 23% VAT. Side note, all prices from yesterday went up by at least €25 today, even on out of stock cards.
The biggest problem by far is that at those prices people really are buying them.

RX 7900 XT was going for 650€ month or so ago 750€ is a terrible deal for RX 9070 XT (700-720€ is absolute maximum)

This is actually same as what I'm suggesting, the +400 on GPU is just to get it out of the way. Of course you can do just memory first and then +400 GPU and lower voltage
