Does this board only support Intel Core Ultra Series 2. Not others intel 1851? The board is pretty expensive. I could afford the board but not a Series 2 processor at the moment.

Supports Intel Core Ultra Processors (Series 2), LGA 1851 - Dynamic Dashboard III, EZ Slide M.2, DDR5 (9200+ MT/s OC), M.2 and PCIe 5.0, Thunderbolt 5, Wi-Fi 7, 10G LAN

Thank you. I forgot about that site. A Ultra 5 would be much cheaper. I really like the 3.99 inch display to the right on this board.

i hate to think how much this motherboard costs.... enjoy the motherboard op

What can the power consumption be for the motherboard and a Ultra Processor be? Without playing games. I have a new Asus rog thor platinum ii 850W. I found it for around 200$ in Sweden with free shipping. Amazon has it for 179$ now but with tax and shipping another 60 or 80. Usually it can be 230 to 300 without tax and shipping.

It seems to only support Ultra Processors i5-i9. Not strange. It is a super motherboard. But what decides that it cannot support others 1851 proccessors? The bios? A chip?

It supports all the LGA 1851 processors. Right now that's Arrow Lake: Intel 225, 245k, 265k, 285k, etc. "i5", "i3", "i9" etc. was the old marketing. now they say "ultra" instead of "i".

That is great. But the truth is that it is built for Ultra Series 2, it cost much. Do anyone have a clue if a Noctua Chromax with dual fans could suit without cover the display or memorys? They are really wide.

More like Beyond Godlike ;)

my 245kf usually maxes around 130 watts, full load of course. idle around 10-15 watts, 50 while gaming. boosting to 5.2 ghz all p-cores so my results would be higher than stock, so also consider that

It was not much in idle and gaming. That is good. What is the ram memory record speed for this board? I could not find information. Asrock z890 taichi ocf Intel. Has 12264 as record.

Man that board is so overkill and overpriced. Unless you're actively seeking records there is no point in spending so much.

I find it weird you can afford this mobo but not the CPU. If I buy this mobo, I would pair it with the Intel Ultra 285k. Maaaaaaaaaaan it is even more expensive than HEDT motherboards. To fully utilize such mobo I would pair it with the fastest cpu I can get. I don't know but that's me.

Did you check the prices for Core Ultra processors lately? I think the 265K just had a $100 price drop.

No one or at least not enough people are buying them, except the 285K which is still too expensive for what it offers, the prices for mid to low range Core Ultra processors have been trending downwards since launch.

Not weird at all. If it's me, I will probably have to start walking home after buying that motherboard because I would be too broke to afford the bus fare.
