What are you playing?

All are free to respond. Vayra has just been the most enthusiastic in recent memory.

Hitman: World of Assassination - Standard or Deluxe?
Not even sure if this is a remaster or bundle of previously released games + new content or what all the HM2 / HM3 references imply.
Its a godforgiven mess, you need a PhD to understand what you're really buying. I still don't get it. I just nabbed the full package of WoA at the lowest possible price you can imagine ;) I already had the first episodes and couldn't figure it out.

But TL DR WOA standard edition gets you all the 3 hitmans' story missions, because that's what World of Ass really is; just the 3 Hitman entries bundled together and a metric ton of DLC (but, again, its misty AF what you're really getting). Deluxe covers you for all the addon content, additional mission modes like escalation and all that. In my view that's skippable, but if you really are a Hitman fanatic, probably not.

Monster arena done, stats max'd on Tidus/Auron/Rikku except luck and dark Valefor also done. Now it's time for dark Ifrit.

I remember when playing on emulator and I accidentally downloaded the NTSC-U version and I was hella confused that where's the dark aeons, didn't know that they weren't a thing until the international and PAL versions.

Also, 9999 cap is broken in VIII, Cactuar can deal 10000, Kamikaze, Shockwave Pulsar and Eden can deal up to 60000 damage ;)

edit: done, time for dark Ixion
edit: done, time for dark Shiva
edit: done, now grinding for luck for dark Bahamut
Oh man such memories of grinding everything out of FFX... That game is effin immense and it just keeps on giving.

Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Bundle + GIFT. Not the best game of the series but for €1.99 (GOG Newsletter subscriber discount) I couldn't let it pass.

Thank you for the clearest description I've encountered. Might add this to the long list of games I hope land on GOG or might buy keys for what I want.

That was with multiple "hits" though, right? I don't recall individual hits going over 9,999 before Final Fantasy X, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were exceptions.

Still, this was the first time we could do it broadly with anything, but it was a shame the game wasn't really balanced around it and just threw in the monster arena as a much stronger ecosystem that needed it. I'd actually like to see a Final Fantasy where the damage cap is so high we don't reach anywhere near it so easily (if at all). That might prevent the issue where skills/spells/summons/characters that should be stronger lose some of their edge because they reach the cap first, and then lesser stuff comes closer.

There you go...

Started on Avowed, aka The Game With The Ugliest Character Design Ever (I bet the Tumbler generation digs that thou). It seems a bit generic but I’m a sucker for first person CRPGs, and the combat feels fun (the pause is great), at least initially, so I will try to persevere.

Dead Money DLC for Fallout New Vegas and damn the lightning is pretty great.

Just reinstalling Assassin's Creed Origins, shall have another play at this great game...!

City Skylines 2 did a 60GB update. The Game is so much better now

$700.000 collected, gathering enough resources to march on without spending cash at the shop is getting hard, but not impossible. magnum (killer7) is a life saver, one shot kills for every type of enemy, fast and precise too. it's pretty much the only ammo I find really worth crafting, that and flash grenades. the rest I use what little I find or drops from dead enemies.

Picked Cyberpunk 2077 back up and haven't been able to put it down. The immersive dystopian setting has me hooked. Bold statement, but if it released in the state that it's in now I feel it would've won Game of The Year.
Free testing is on a huge bracket of different systems and is on by default, nothing beats the costs of such tests not even game of the year.

"Tumbler generation"? What does that mean?

tumblr, in modern terms this was a site with no limit on the amount of cat gif servers you could join. Wasn't a thing in the 90's either.

Still playing System Shock Remake.
Made a grave mistake of starting the game on the highest difficulties(3-3-3-3)... The playthrough was kinda easy at the beginning, but later I realized that resources are scarce and I have to come up with some creative solutions on how to backtrack to the library from reactor and then back again, when I have no ammo and zero medkits... After I finally did it, shot down the mining laser and progressed through most of the storage area, I finally realized that the timer which I see in the menu is counting down :banghead: Apparently on the highest difficulties it's not just harder fights, puzzles and environment, but also you are on the 10-hour timer to beat the campaign. And on my first playthrough I already spent most of it on exploration and other stuff(like figuring out whattaheck am I supposed to do)... basically 6.5 hours in and not even 30% done.
Anyways, restarted on 2-2-2-2 difficulty, so I can take my time with the game, and probably later do it again on 3-3-3-3. I'm already over the halfway point, and I still can't find the laser rapier (got it on my first playthrough, but totally forgot where it was)
Really missed old-school games... No hand-holding, no objective markers, no hints, no big bright pointless numbers all over the screen - just pure exploration. If anyone remembers how side-quests work in morrowind - it's pretty much like that(you read/hear some info, you find the place on your own based on description, you figure it out).

I'm a simple man. I see Morrowind mentioned, I press like. :D

I mean people born in the 90s use/used it. Maybe early 2000s too.

PS3 was the point where complacency eclipsed quality. Never could bring myself to buy a PS3, or especially Xbox, back then. Without doubt these games play better and look as they were intended to on PC. Not sure where on the spectrum emulation lands since ports are never fully as good as the game should've been on native hardware.

Lego City Undercover has that inner element of completeness that games increasingly lack even at end of development. Stripping the Mayor's car in broad daylight and leaving it on blocks was an early sign the childish pacing and gameplay logic weren't going to dictate a single IQ point gaming experience. Tamely done but enjoyable humor that is present everywhere in everything you can do.

Riding a busted fire hydrant in the middle of a high paced police pursuit with absolutely no impact on ability to pick it back up or play with another game element.

i have played 2013 lego game, don't remember it's name. It was on pc.

Two ancients having a grudge about a thing as little as a generation of lost kittens who were too young to see the world when it was great and are too old to witness the world to become great again.

C'mon guys, you can do better than that. Take a sip. Chill for a little bit. They targeted my generation, not yours. And on behalf of my peers I am telling you this game sucks.

I'm completely lost, I know what is Tumblr but I've never used it nor cared about it as a kid from 89 nor feel offended in any way.
Anyway lets have some cultured stuff from me as usual.
New update in Wuwa so ofc a new character, I was saving my gems for someone else but I just couldn't say no to her..
WuwCantarella2.jpg
She has some kind of a jellyfish power/theme apparently.
WuwaCantarella4.jpg
In this game characters who have these powers always have a thing called Tacet mark and it can be anywhere on their bodies like a tattoo.
I was wondering where is her's since it wasn't visible..
WuwaCantarella2.jpg
Well okay nevermind. 'and thats when I've decided that no matter what I'm pulling a copy of her but apparently she also slots into one of my main teams as a sub DPS/support so its a win-win for me'
Yet to start the new story so thats what I'm gonna play later today since yesterday I was busy testing out my new monitor in some FPS games like DOOM Eternal and BL 3.
