TPU's F@H Team

I was with the PPD Police.

Awesome. Weren't you guys the Division 1 winners pretty much every single month? How many times were you on a winning team? Brass Bottom Boys started in the bottom of Div 2, then eventually won it and moved up to Division 1, then eventually won Division 1 once. It took a long time but I was only part of a winning team once.
I switched to Linux Mint and it's working now! My PPD is much higher now.

If you're on Nvidia, sudo apt install flatpak, then go here and install GreenWithEnvy to either overclock your card, or "undervolt" it by lowering the power limit slider. You can also set custom fan curves and see other various statistics of the card like power draw. You may also need to look into setting coolbits for the Nvidia drivers to unlock fan control and overclocking ability, look it up. Hope this is helpful. (I use Mint as my main OS).

My crunchers are offline for the time being now that warm weather has arrived (though it's not particularly warm here at this exact moment). My summer cruncher should be configured and online toward the end of the month or in early June.

What will the summer cruncher be?

What will the summer cruncher be?

That's a little bit up in the air. Probably a 10700K + 2080. I could move rigs around and make the 11700K system the host, but don't know that the small boost in pts/W is worth the trouble. The real question is if I want to include a second GPU. I'd need to choose from a 1070 ti, Titan XP, or 2060S.

Got the summer cruncher up a couple weeks ago now, settling on just the 2080. Took a chance today on a generic eBay 3070 that came from the mines, so we'll see if a) it works and b) gets the extra ~1M/d over the 2080 that the Lar database says it should.

Cool, here's hoping it's worth it!
