Help For XFX RX 590 GME Chinese - Vbios

Good Day,
I have purchased an XFX RX 590 GME Chinese version from AliExpress. Initially, the BIOS switch was towards power input. The GPU was detected, but driver installation always crashed on Windows 10, and I failed after several attempts to install it, so I took a backup from the VBIOS and flashed it with another ROM, but the matter went wrong, and it stopped working; even the PC wouldn't start (the screen was black, and the keyboard also wasn't working). Therefore, I switched to the second BIOS and repeated the same story with the same result. Then I purchased the CH431A Programmer (Black Edition), and I wiped out both BIOS and reflashed them by the backup ROM, moreover the ROMs for RX 580 2048sp, but still the same result (the PC stuck on booting).
Yesterday I connected it as a secondary GPU and flashed a matching ROM similar to my backup. Then it appeared in the Device Manager, but when I opened GPU-Z, I found many cells were blank, like Memory Bandwidth and GPU Clock, and bottom features were unticked. I tried to start the PC with the GPU, but again the PC stuck on booting, and the PCIE module red light was always on.
I'm not an expert, but I've been in this trouble since 20 days ago, searching and googling but without any step forward. I'm lost, and I don't know what to do.
one more strange thing: in the attached photo for ROM by Polaris Bios Editor, the VendorID is 0x5249, while GPU-Z shows something else. Is it normal?
finally , sorry for my english level but i hope that i delivered the message

At least the chip looks to be a genuine RX 590 GME.

@eidairaman1 you're needed once again :D

Right side bios => 113-59G85SMF2-W90 (SHA1 Hash 936aba1739b7f3d0884d07fbcd6cb38026f11862)
Left side bios => 113-59G85SMF2-W90 (SHA1 HasH 6b6f939a59f21510eec23ed679a4e8817d781589)

Both bioses have the same part number. That is not correct and the SHA1 Hash is not the same, which means one of bioses is modified, maybe even both are since I can't locate those hashes in the bios collection.

This bios might be the orginal one since it shares the same part number (113-59G85SMF2-W90)

This bios might work but has a different part number (113-59G85SMF2-W80)

Did you also try bioses I mentioned yesterday? RX590 GME is an overclocked RX580 so both bioses should work fine for your PCB & memory right out of the box!

Thanks for your support. I have tried "RX590 GME is an overclocked RX580," and it didn't work. The main issue is the PC is stuck in booting.
one more question: the roms you shared are for
GPU Variant: Polaris 20 XL (215-0910052) But mine is 215-0910066 , so is it ok to proceed?

I'll try the ROMs you have attached and let you know.

215-0910066 is a beter quality chip which can run at higher speeds than 215-0910052 and has all SP enabled

I didn't share any bios which are ment for Polaris 20 XL (RX570 / RX580 2048SP) so I am curious where you got that information.?
Did you look at the place holder picture since the bioses I shared are for Polaris20 XTX

sorry, when i clicked the link below GPU Photo it drive me to the RX 580 Specs, where it was mentioned the GPU Variant is Polaris 20 XL (215-0910052)

:banghead: Still, the situation as it is, I have flashed both ROMs. Firstly, I did ROM (113-59G85SMF2-W90). And the PC detected the GPU when it was working as a secondary card. But the same problem occurred when I tried to run it as the master GPU: the PC wouldn't start along with the PCIE red light on , so I flashed the second ROM (113-59G85SMF2-W80) with the same result: the PC never started up and got stuck in booting with a black screen and the PCIE red light on.
What shall I do?

I noticed you are using the CH341A programmer. Dont use the black version. It can kill your card....

If the card is working as secondary card, try to flash it with amdvbflash 2.93 before putting it back as primary card.

Previously I used the CH431A to wipe the bios , but last flashing I did was by amdvbflash, so what shall I do now ?

Can you check the PCI-e interface of the card. Can you see if it is damaged?
Does the graphics card work in the secondary interface without a graphics card installed in the primary interface?

The PCI-e is working well. I have tried other GPUs, and they were working. I'm connecting this GPU under the iGPU.
Really, I don't know how to solve it .

i have searched for that matter before using it , and most of experts mentioned that there is no need to modify the chip voltage
So you put 5 volt on 1.8 volt data lines? Doesn't seems so great to me. You also need to know that you also put some voltage on the other parts which aren't rated at 5.0 volt.

You are putting way too much time into a bunk card, you wasted money. Go find a rx 6600 or something in the rx 7000 series and call it a day.

Thanks for the advice , but I'm trying to get what I have paid, I purchased that card and it didn't work, therefore , I'm trying

If it is still within the Cooling-off period, return the card state you received a faulty card which doesn't work.

Let it be known that if you can't get a used part working in 2 days time it should go right back. The more you piddle with something the less time you have to return it.

New parts have at least a 1 year warranty and have never been used.

I hope you get refunded
