The "Ryzen 9000G" will probably arrive with another name. It might be better to put the name in quotes or call it AMD Desktop Zen 5 APU or something similar.

As for the Samsung 3nm node, here is some more recent info (rumours) from TPU. The company apparently has shipped something - mentioned here. If true, it might be a reason to remove the Samsung 3nm section.

Toshiba XL-FLASH ... long time, no see ... seems to be as dead as Optane. What do you do with stale tech info like that?

PCI-Express is oficially PCI Express, no hyphen (source: PCI-SIG, which itself is hyphenated).

Finally, Intel CXL is now just CXL, even if it originated at Intel.

So, Intel is beating both Samsung and TSMC to 1nm node? Because those two companies are not scheduled for 1nm until 2029. I am a little surprised by this, I assume there is something I am not understanding correctly. Please help me understand, thank you.

Typical Intel power point. How did their 7nm and 4nm fare? And the 20A? Now 18A is not even on the market already they are hyping their supposed next node.
And Intel wants us to believe that ~2 years after 18A (well see how it fares with mass production in 2026) they can suddenly jump and skip to 1nm?
Yeah right.

Not necessarily misleading, imo. More like overly optimistic.

The entire industry is "misleading" as those are just marketing terms.
They are trying to control how electrons behave on a small slab of semiconductor and are using an arbitrary names for the various manners they are using to get finer grain control over more of them on the same slab of semiconductor.

it's not unlikely that when this generation of technologies (the things intel and samsung are working on) it's going to be an other slow decade.
on the upside, i can see big chips like those in **90 cards running at +6Ghz

RAM manufacturers are somewhat more honest. So honest that they have to keep inventing new integers between 0 and 9.
