lol what? I've never accused anyone of slipping into any brand cultist underwear - even if the lines are hardly blurred, I just don't feel its my place to dish out wedgies.

loool, speaking of wedgies, the last thing I wanna see is full grown men strutting around in red or green underpants:

Hahahah dw I know you haven't :toast:

That price is insane. It has half amount of shaders than 9070 XT. What do they ask that money for?
It should cost $350 at max. Stupid AMD. Once again hitting themselves in the leg.

Last few years we have a reversal of the norm. Usually higher performance cost more and more money, now higher end products have higher performance / $. It's gotten kinda crazy, lol.

Is this a joke?

Is this a joke?

Why would it be? 50% of a 9070 XT for 50% of its street price. Makes sense to me! The one that has 100% of the the memory for 66% of the price is actually a bargain. No reason to complain. What are you, one of those who keep fawning over MSI Afterburner and FPS counters? Go play some video games, my man. :pimp:

Every time it's released, the price jumps a little higher in stores because a lot of people want to buy the latest generation card, but after 1-2 months the prices will drop.

I don't hate Nvidia, they just offer few Gimmicks, stupid software to manage settings and now crap drivers, their cards load games slower.
AMD and now Intel do it better, I don't need a top card for insane money - I don't need Nvidia.
It's pointless to hate any corporation, it's enough to ignore.

Care to elaborate? How do Nvidia cards load games slower.

It's amusing to see the age old hoaxes come up every now and then as a sad attempt at justification. Next up, Nvidia has poorer colors.

As you read it, the last 6 months I've been swapping out a few cards, including the 4080 Super, some times close to 2 times slower loading. Every other card I've tried, including the Arc B580, has no such problem.
The current 9070 XT is insane at loading games/saves.

Care to elaborate?

I can only suppose what the problem is, I can blame the nvidia driver which uses its own caching folder, but again that's just a assumption.
I use cacheable prorams/ram drives, the 4080S doesn't care about them, the Radeon cards use them and it makes loading a lot faster.

Colors can be adjusted, it's not a problem.

Game loading is mostly a cpu and ram bandwidth issue (and of course hard disk). How in the world would a gpu play any role in that?

Can we test it? Do you have an amd gpu currently installed? Pick a game and lets post a video with the loading times (let's use same savefile)

When the only difference in the computer is the video card, is the CPU/memory the problem?
7900 XT / 7900 XTX / 4080 Super / Arc B580 / 9070 XT

*Yeah, Nvidia's cards use software scheduling, but... I dunno, could that be it?

Well, as I've said, if you are currently using one let's test it?

How do you use ramdisk? How much ram do you even have? Modern games are 50 to 100+ gigabytes.

PrimoCache.
The ramdisk is for temporary files only.

Tech powerup, test many cards regular. Surely they would have noticed if AMD GPU's load games quicker when doing benchmarks?

Maybe they can do a review and confirm this. That would be awesome.

How do you people argue about a products price/performance when you don't know either one? :kookoo:

According to TPU the 16GB version is about 12% BETTER than a 5060Ti 16GB.
https://www.newegg.com/msi-rtx-5060...-gddr7/p/N82E16814137958?Item=N82E16814137958

Now chew on that while you wait for the actual real numbers.
Α card even faster than the 5060ti (which is super fast for its vram) with only 8gb? What is amd thinking, right?

We all know that card wont beat 7700xt and 6800xt
And this is why at the end of March I plunged on a 7700 XT. I don't think that it will touch either card you mentioned and I wasn't a fan of the 128 bit bus, 192 or 256 have always been on my range of cards.

So, I had a GTX 1080 for almost 10 years. Got this 6900XT, what a year and a half ago. I was rocking a 7900XT, sold it before Xmas while I waited for all these cards to release. Glad I held onto this 6900XT. I think its my new GTX1080, wont be replacing it with anything from this gen, not at the prices thier going for.

Supposedly the 16GB version. There are both, just like the 5060. The 8GB version is cheaper.

So DOA at this price it's insane. This doesn't have the GDDR7 speeds to support that bus width.
