Raijintek AMPERE 1200 W

Did you check the air exit temperatures just after the fan has been off for a good amount of time at 40% load? and do you know the OEM?

Can testing also be done at 110V when the bridge rectifiers are taxed? and would be nice to have a power efficiency curve at 110V.

"Whereas, Zero RPM fan mode will wait until there is so much heat to dissipate, the fan kicks on at 400W and the air coming out of the back can be used to melt heatshrink tubing."

It's Andyson. So to quote Jonnyguru, this can be a "hit or miss" as they delivered good and bad units over the years. Don't know their exact reputation today to be honest.

Their reputation is still pretty much the same.
Andyson along with the likes of AcBel, CWT, FSP, etc., can easily knock out a top tier unit, and have done for some customer brands or PC OEMs willing to pay....
But they'll also sell to the bottom of the market - it's just that some OEMs seem to spend more time battling in the low end 'trenches' than others and will have an offering for the crappiest PSU option available.

More annoying is that some big brands still shop around to offer some of these products...
E.g. Be Quiet! System Power is junk, although as a company they sell others that aren't junk and the OEM supplier also makes better products for the likes of Corsair.

Some years ago I would have firmly listed Cooler Master, who seemed to have a thing for having multiple product lines with little differences all from different OEMs, where a lot of their products came from some OEMs who were either crap or relatively obscure. They seem to have moved on from that.
