Well, here we are for our Rosetta Pie Stats update for the 4th May 2025!!

And there we are, another great day for Rosetta Pie!! Just under 195,000 points for a day for TPU is so great!! Thank you and well done to everyone contributing all that to the team!! It's an amazing feat in my eyes!!! Still, better make a move on, so here we are as always, the server stats for the day....

And there we go, just under 7.86 million queued jobs to get through... I think we're gonna be busy for a while yet don't you think?!?!

Oh and before I forget, we have a milestone and stoner to mention quickly!!

Well well, here we are again with another Rosetta Pie Stats update, who'd have thought eh!?! Well here we are for the 5th May 2025 stats!!

Well, that's a lovely sight to see!! Over 200,000 points for Rosetta in a day is an amazing achievement!! Great job everyone, really great job!! I hope everyone is happy with that performance and if not, why not?!?!?!
We are flying along with the Rosetta Stats, I think in a way, these seem to be coming along better in some ways than the WCG stats... What does anyone think?? Still, as always, here we are with the server stats again....

Nothing to complain about here I don't think??!! Just over 7.7 million queued jobs which isn't half bad considering yesterday was a bit under 7.86 million points... Great work everyone, really great work I hope to see you all again soon enough in another update tomorrow!! Can't wait to see you all back, take care everyone!! See you soon!!

And there we are, another great day for Rosetta ladies and gents!! Great effort everyone, nice to see 8 of the team putting in the time for some stats I hope we can come back tomorrow for the same again!! Here we go for the server stats as always

And there we are, a little over 7.35 million queued jobs, pretty decent I think I'm going to guess about 200,000 jobs have been completed, so that's great to see I hope everyone is doing well and is OK?? Well there we are again, as always, we are smokin' and flying along with these Rosetta tasks, outstanding work everyone!! I do wonder when @Toothless might be coming back to make an appearance?!!? Well, we miss you mate and we hope everything is going well and your OK!! So, time to get on with it and here we are with the server stats we go....

Not bad I don't believe, we've managed to get on rather well there I think Around 200,000 jobs had been completed yesterday, outstanding !! I hope everyone is doing well and is OK!! Hope to see you in the next one!!

And there we are, smashing through the 200,000 point barrier like it was nothing, how do you all manage it!?!? Amazing efforts and work everyone, nicely done as always!! Great work and I hope everyone is happy with the progress today!! Speaking of which, time to go and show these server stats too!!

A little over the 200,000 jobs completed yesterday, damn!! Everyone is flying through these work units!! I hope everyone is doing well and is OK!! Hope to see you all again tomorrow for another update!!

Here we are again with the Rosetta Pie Stats update for the 10th May 2025!!

Well there we are again with the heavy scores for Rosetta, over 206,000 points for the day!! Outstanding work everyone! Great job indeed and not to mention even more impressively is the following couple of stoners!!

Those are some next level milestones, well done every one for smashing past the 90 million points barrier for Rosetta!! So many thank you's for everyone but its just outstanding!! Can't wait to see the next milestone for the team!!

Not as many work units as I was expecting to have seen it drop by but maybe we had some bigger and harder units to complete... Still, moving forward!! And here we are with the last update for the Rosetta Pie Stats for the 15th May 2025!!

And there we are, a bit of a drop in the contributions, but I think Rosetta seems to be playing with us and giving us some points one day and not the next with the work we are all putting in... Can say that due to the points from the guys at the top and even at the bottom, its a strange one to crunch for but it had only taken out a few thousand jobs too..... Lookie here.....

And there we are, not masses for work units down, around 130,000 but I wonder if they have slowed them down a little bit... Maybe Time to get crunching on them when they send us stuff! Reminds me, have to check in on WCG with that.....

My BOINC-Manager (Linux 7.18.1) stopped working/connecting to Rosetta on my 5950X and I more or less stopped getting work. Since it's a beta and the last officiel version it will take some work-around and I'm noob. Have a look at my recent results HERE missing deadline after 24 hours? 8 hour tasks done in 30 minuts! Both are false. I will stick with my 30K PPD 3900X for now.

Not a bad day at all for our Rosetta Pie Stats there, I'm wondering why I don't have any points but I'm going to guess I've ran out or miss a turn with the timings again... Must remind myself to stop trying to get PCs to do multiple work tasks, it never works!! But, anyways, I must move on! Time for some server stats....

And there we are, seems like a nice drop today, about 160,000 work units, that's great work everyone!! (Everyone meaning all teams!! ) But there we are, another day and a load more points for TPU! Keep up the great work everyone, I hope you are all OK and will be back tomorrow for another update!! Take care everyone!!

How much better is Linux with crunching for Rosetta Mstenholm than with Windows?? I use Windows on all my crunchers, so I'm sure it would be a load better... I think I just went with Windows due to FAH on the systems.... Is that a little better supported now??

Another great day everyone, nice work, just a touch under 150,000 points for today, smokin'!! It also appears that we have a bit of something else to celebrate too..... A milestone has been passed..... You'll never guess who....

Well who'd have thought Congrats @SmookinJoe !! Awesome work!! I hope you are doing well and are OK?? Wonder how long it'll be until you get the next one?? Week or two yeah An inspiration to us all mate you really are
I see @mstenholm and @xrobwx71 smashing out the scores as well, great work!! Going to have to dedicate a single PC to each of these crunching projects, think its the best way!! I think that's about 125,000 or so jobs, done everyone, great work indeed!! I think TPU is more or less one of the top 10 for Rosetta and its daily contributions, that's amazing work everyone!! Please do keep it up!! Right, time to get a move on again I think, time for a few more updates

@phill You asked me recently if Linux fair better than Windows for Rosetta. I will illustrate with some numbers - My 5950X did 45K runing 28 jobs (67 points/hour) and my 3900X (20 jobs) does 30-31K (53 point/hour) under Ubuntu 22.04. Same setting and even with only 4-8 jobs alone with the 5950X I got around 50 points/hour. So yes Linux is better for Rosetta, WCG atm with only MCM not a big difference.

If you go the Linux way don't use Boinc Manager 7.18.1, go 24.04,1 LTS and 7.24.1, The 7.18.1 is a hit and miss. My 3900X still works fine but my 5950X can't communicate propper, hangs in the startup pop-up window,

Another nice day everyone, I hope you are happy with the results too!! A little bit of a drop today but there's one or two members down so, I'm guessing that's half the battle... But, overall, we have really pushed nicely so happy days indeed
I hope everyone is having or has had a good day so far? Well time to get a move on and see the server stats just for a bit of an update there....

And there we are, not a bad drop again, I'm going to be guessing about 165,000 or thereabouts....... @phill - an update on the problem with the none-communication on Boinc Manager and other Linux matters. I followed a guide to download and "Install the stable version of BOINC on Unbuntu 22.04" and ended up with version 8.0.4. The manager started up but the none-communicating thing persisted. It did however communicate according to my host list at Rosetta. I can see the new version (now 8.0.4, was 7.18) The previous version worked for 11M points so it good but I poked around in Hosts prior to a restart and that could be the reason. I still have work to do there

If Mint is your flavour go for it. I can hardy recommend Ubuntu untill the correct non-beta version of Manager is included in the Snap Store.

Edit: I got versions numbers mixed up and fixed that and the text to fit.
