Team Group T-Force CKD XTREEM DDR5-8800 48 GB CL42

And what conclusion does that offer? The CS2 result in that very page you cited show 9fps difference(out of 624fps) for the average and an 8FPS difference(out of 348fps) for the 1% lows.

So is that a big enough improvement for twice the money? I think not! That is my point.

This kit at $180(MSRP) is NOT worth the price over a 6400 kit for $100 or 6000 for $90. You can offer your elitist argument all you wish, but at the end of the day, this kit is NOT a good value and NOT worth the increased price. End of discussion.
You still somehow don't understand I'm just explaining the difference between 24GB and 16GB modules. I said nothing about value or whether or not someone should buy anything. You seem to have some problems with comprehension you should perhaps consider working on before engaging with others.

I gotcha just fine. You originally offered that tidbit of info as a defense for RootinPootin's arguments about performance and I was answering that line of commentary.

You implied it by jumping into a discussion about same.

Yeah, that's gotta be it. It can't be someone reacting with their ego because they've been proven wrong.. No, not at all..

Irony.

No I didn't. I quoted a very specific part of your post to explain why you were making an incorrect assumption.

I did no such thing. Maybe you think that because you can't imagine someone just wants to clarify a point and doesn't care about your petty argument.
Yeah, that's gotta be it. It can't be someone reacting with their ego because they've been proven wrong.. No, not at all..
Proven wrong? Nice try dude. I literally just put out facts and you're going on a complete tangent rant that has nothing to do with what I wrote about.
Another concept completely lost on you.

I'm more than enough of a nerd to be interested in a RAM kit just because "big number more gooder", but with Ryzen currently barely supporting 8000+ MT/s, and those chips' memory controller favouring speeds closer to 6000, I really don't see the point of manufacturers trying to chase the bigger number here. Why not try to chase better latency and stability at 7000-8000, rather than just making the number go higher?

@lexluthermiester @thestryker6

Debating is fine, just remember to keep it respectful please. It is impossible to change someone opinion if you insult them.

They do chase lower, but realistically there is a limit of how low you can go without active cooling and or more DRAM voltage.

We need them to bring back the DDR2 Fans and 1.8V DRAM . Sadly Consumers are already afraid of 1.5V. So until new ICs are developed, Retail 6000 CL26 is the lowest will be see for another couple of years.

LOL! We're done here, push off.
Nice try dude.
Dude?!? Grow up.

It is impossible to change someone opinion if you insult them.
This assumes I'm trying to change their opinion. I was not. One can not change concrete into water, only a fool tries. Instead, was returning to them what they were offering. They have yet to figure that out.

I'll stay with my 6200 36-36-36.
Not sure what platform your on, but I agree at least with AM5 systems.
Even better with 30-36-36-72, if you can do it & maintain 1:1

cl26 is the sheesh these days for AM5..lol..I'm even 8200MT's now on AM5 as my lows keeps jiggling on 6600MT's CL28..
