I dont know..AM4 is already a 9-year-old platform and counting. You won't keep the users forever on it.
There is a reason why AM4 still outsells AM5 - simply because AM5 is underengineered for the above mentioned points and overengineered because of the 5-th gen technologies which no one really needs.

The AM5 platform is a failure on all points:
1. Far beyond its sweet zone power consumption;
2. Wrong chiplets placement - results is heavy sabotaging of coolers' performace;
3. Pins on the motherboards, instead of the checked and much safer placement on the CPUs.
4. More?
Not sure why you're bitching about this as a point of "failure" for AM5 when Intel's been doing the LGA style socket for literally years, long before AMD.
But sure, you keep grasping at those straws, bud.

Simple - because I don't work with, I don't buy and am not interested in anything Intel.
LGA is a mistake, let's hope AM6 will fix this, of course after AMD carefully evaluating the users' feedbacks.

Get a G series or Laptop AM5 CPU instead.![]()
The AM5 platform is a failure on all points:
1. Far beyond its sweet zone power consumption;
Yet most people can still cool it sufficiently even with air coolers and still get great performance.2. Wrong chiplets placement - results is heavy sabotaging of coolers' performace;
Intel has been using LGA for a long time. Why is it now suddenly a problem? I will admit Threadripper LGA is somewhat scary.3. Pins on the motherboards, instead of the checked and much safer placement on the CPUs.
LOL!, Look I'll be the first to complain AM5's major failing is insufficient number of PCIe lanes combined with lack of wider PCIe slot offerings for workstation uses, and some what larger inventory of overpriced motherboards compared to AM4, but failure on all points is kind of ridiculous.4. More?

I do not know. and therefore I stick to something, which is a little bit more expensive with the hope it will be a little bit better,too. It's only a feeling, no provable opinion.Is there a best?

He's actually an AMD exclusive user, I'd even say fan. He just really hates LGA it seems lol.But your comments reek of Intel fanboyism - every time someone posts about a build they want to do, and the person mentions they want a build on the AM5 platform, there you are spouting nonsense about why it's a failure and yadda yadda. And again, saying LGA is a mistake you only mentioned AMD, when Intel's been doing LGA for far longer. And yet, you don't mention it as a failure/mistake on Intel, just AMD.
You're literally telling me you're an Intel fanboy without actually saying it.
But why?a $150 CPU in a $700 motherboard
