Hi,

I have 2k 180hz monitor and connect with dp 1.4 and osd select 1.4. rtx 4070-vg27aq3a- i use 2k 180hz 8bit sdr.

But gpu-z show 5.4 gpbs(x4 21.6). is this normal?

When I asked chatgpt and gemine they said it was 5.4 is dp 1.2 speed. if says 8.1=dp 1.4..

I noticed this. When I select DP 1.2 in OSD, the HDR on/off setting in Windows disappears. When I select 1.4 in OSD, the hdr on/off switch comes back.

That sounds about right my 144Hz 1080p monitor sits at 2.7gbps x 4 for a total 10.8gbps
so 21.6 sounds correct for 1440p 180Hz 8bit SDR does it change if you turn on HDR (requires DP 1.4 or higher) or change the bpp to 10bits

the monitor will only call for what it wants in the way of Display Port bandwidth so if only needs 5.4 x 4 lanes then that's all it needs to do it's job properly
