RX9000 series choice

Thanks. Now I saw the news that 9080xt will be released. I am really confused. I am wondering if I should wait and get 9080xt instead of 9070xt.

There will not be a 9080.

On the off chance AMD releases a faster card it would be a binned 9070XT with higher clocks, 32gb of vram and potentially faster memory IC’s (still GDDR6).

There’s no point swapping your Nitro for another high end card unless it’s defective, it is otherwise rolling the dice on silicon.

-So numbering is not very important. Its performance should be 20-30% better than the 9070xt. Even this would be great. But the date is not clear.

- Taichi always ranks at the top in 3dmark tests. That's why I started to think about whether Taichi's OC ability is better. Why do you think taichis might be at the top?

Get the 9070xt, no guarantee of a 9080xt

If you already knew that the Taichi was a better GPU than the Nitro why didn't you buy it in the first place or did you buy the Nitro before doing any research.?

Benchmark scores are not the be all and end all of a GPU Sapphire are a known great manufacturers for AMD GPU's they use high quality components they use better cooler designs than most and they typically have good warranty service should shit hit the fan I'd have to say you bought a really good GPU.

the main difference is going to be in PCB layers and power delivery and heat dissipation the Taichi might have a more aggressive fan curve or slightly better fan design that pushes more air for the same fan rpm meaning it'll cool better so you might just need to adjust your fan profile to be more aggressive to get the same results either ither way they're going to be within 1~2% of each other depending on the silicon which isn't worth paying 90 more bucks for

Thanks. Taichi was also on sale and I bought it for the same price as the nitro yesterday. I will probably return the nitro, but I can get your comments.

@Athlonite As far as I can see from the reviews, Taichi's PCB is said to be a little better. They used 60a phase. Others have 50a. Of course, I don't know how important this difference is.
