Battlemage flashing

Just a bump. Todays driver is the first to carry Battlemage firmware (BMG). I have yet to update my automation to compile the matrix with this firmware, but it is parsed and uploaded to my git.

Tests with the Arc flash tool and adjustment of the matrix code will be forthcoming.

Hey sorry to bother you but I'm a bit lost. Just to confirm the tool is working with the Battlemage GPUs?

If yes from what I understand I need to flash firmware that starts with "BMG". Looking at the 6737 driver for example I see that there is two BMG firmware files one of them has golden in the title. Do you know which one I need to use for my Sparkle B580 GPU or do I need to flash both? Also do I need to put any files in "OPROM" and "FW DATA" fields because I do not see anything else that has BMG in the title...

I want to downgrade firmware to an older version due to performance issues in certain games, looking at the 6737 driver I see that there is two BMG firmware files: bmg_g21_fwupdate.bin and the other one
bmg_g21_fwupdate_golden.bin

Do you know what's the difference between them and which one I need to use for my Sparkle B580 GPU or do I need to flash one first and then follow up with the other file? What you see is what you get. I post the version numbers and the file names are self explanatory. That’s the only firmware available and golden was the GA shipped with the cards, there has been nothing newer or older released.

I checked both firmware files, and according to WinMerge, they are identical.

They are helpful and willing to tackle most problems, and it benefits everyone in the driver updates.
