Hey guys :)
im going to build a new rig after 10 years , I live in Israel so my budget (without aesthetic) is around 10K ILS which is about 2900$
my build is planned through pcpartpickser but i have all the parts in my country :)
i didnt include the aesthetic part cause im waiting for the lian li mini v2 and beside that my mom is helping me with this part of the build.

my main goal: gaming AAA + comp , wanna start with streaming and video editing/we can call it content creation.

CPU - Amd 9700x
Motherboard - MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI
Ram - TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta 32GB 6000MHZ CL30
Storage - Lexar NQ790 1TB (its enough cause im taking a 2tb nvme from my current rig)
GPU - MSI GAMING TRIO OC PLUS 5070TI
PSU - Lian Li EDGE GOLD 850W FULL

im waiting to hear your thoughts ,

thanks :)

Does your budget handle a x3d processor instead? They are very good.

Maybe could you provide the site where I can take a look at prices and parts that you buy from in Israel? I mean, looms like a decent build. Just wondering if I can check to see make adjustments to make it cheaper.

Sure , i got 2 options:

btw , sorry that i forgot to mention but the cpu + ram + ssd im gonna get from aliexpress cause i found really good price for them with great customer reviews.

Yeah, right now Aliexpress is a great place for prices. There is a fantastic summer sale and some codes to increase sale prices too. If you got Rakuten (I looked it up, seems they are in Israel) you get like 10% cash back.

Saw a 9800x3d for a great price on there. Also, I mean you can get a b650i motherboard for real cheap on there, built a system for my sister using it. But if you wanna stick with b850, no problem!

Looks pretty good.

I'd get more, better ram and ssd. Lexar and Team group are both kinda lower-tier brands. They'll probably be fine, but not my preference. They have western digital drives in similar price range, and g.skill and A-data/XPG ram in similar price range.

I'd spring for a 1000w psu. I tend to use seasonic and fsp.

Don't forget to figure cooling into the cost.

I would not bother with any 1TB drive. Buy 2tB or 4TB one or just buy none. Or buy a cheaper 2TB one.

I do not see the computer case and the cpu cooler and thermal paste and case fan.

the psu is up to discussions. I see nvidia gpu buyer - therefore i would go for atx 3.1 and 1050W psu. Just for future sake and the possibility to use 5090 and similar cards. I doubt the massive power consumption will be less. Even amd graphic card mention these days 900 Watt psu. Please ignore those guys saying, of course 900 Watt implies a cheap power supply unit.

RAM Size = 2x32 or 2x24GB vs fast modules

i bought 2x32Gib DRAM 5600mt/s in may 2023. they clock quite well to 6200mt/s with not so much voltage with 7600x

short: If you intend to keep that box longer and maybe only change gpu and cpu I would pick a 1050W psu and 2x32Gib or 2x24Gib DRAM. If you intend to rebuild in 4 years the components seems fine. Not sure about the power supply unit.

Good times in israel :)
For contant I would go with 128gb ram. 64 is the bere minimum but consider it will be a problem to add more ram if 64 is not enugh.
2*48 is also a good option

This is what I meant in the other thread about who recommended a 9700x. With your budget you're wasting money not getting a high end X3D chip. (tbh AMD kinda made it hard to recommend anything besides the X3D chips for anything but budget builds)

Solid choices. Buy them, build it, enjoy!

yeah the X3D processors really kick ass .. if not then a 9700x would still be kick ass ..uno ?

This is only good advice if a bunch of very large games are installed or a ton of video editing is done. Otherwise, 1TB drive will be fine.

Do not listen to this advice. 128GB of RAM is too much for what the OP will be doing. 32GB is good, 48GB or even 64GB if a lot of RAM is used.

im not gonna listen to this advice and not even for the advice that some one wrote that my ram choose of t-force is not so good haha

TeamGroup makes good products, no worries. The idea of more RAM has a bit of merit with you wanting to do video editing. 48GB or 64GB might be worth considering if you know your workload will be on the heavier side. If not, 32GB will be great.

im a beginner , so agree with me that im always able to add in the future if i'll have the need for :)

Exactly. You can always add more later.
I said the same thing myself, and ended with avery handicapped ram @4000mhz ddr5 after adding another 64GB to my system.

Just adding memory sticks that are not a perfect mach will cripple them.

Better to go with only 2 sticks from the start and not ending with 4 sticks unless you must.
RAM is the trickiest thing to upgrade.

Stop with that. People keep saying this crap and it's just not something common. If you lost RAM speed, something isn't set properly in your settings.

not nececerlly. Some memory configuration not mix well, I know first handed.
don't go with 2R (dual rank) memory stics

wassup with that RAM?:rolleyes: gskill and adata are also "not the first place" RAM manufacturers (or "builders", or whatsever, IDC REALLY......) for me...

gpu "trim" is clearly "taste question", but "gaming trio" is a bit off with prices if you care...
I'd use SeaSonic for PSU and let "lianli" to design "most high pricetagged" cases tho...

Then that's a config problem not a memory upgrade problem. As long as sticks of matching, or nearly matching, specs are used the system should boot at proper speeds. JEDEC specs for DDR5 is 4800MT, anything faster is out of specs and not garanteed. That said, as long as two sets of RAM are even close to each other, they will be sync'd to slower specs of the two.

As long as you don't mix 1R with 2R, all will be fine.
