Eurocom introduces the Nightsky RX517, a customizable and user-upgradeable 17.3-inch laptop built for professionals, creators, and power users who need a balance of screen size, flexibility, and long-term scalability. The Nightsky RX517 comes with large 17.3" internal display for these looking for larger size viewing area. At the core of the Nightsky RX517 is Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with 24 cores / 24 threads and 36 MB cache, paired with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Blackwell GPU (4608 CUDA cores, 144 Tensor AI cores, and 8 GB GDDR7 memory). This configuration is ideal for productivity workloads, 2D/3D content handling, development, multi-display environments, and smooth day-to-day performance.

Designed to support up to four active displays with NVIDIA Surround View, the Nightsky RX517 empowers power users to expand their desktop environment for improved multitasking, creative workflows, and visual workspace management. The internal 17.3-inch FHD 144 Hz display delivers smooth visuals and large screen for creative and technical work. Following EUROCOM's user-friendly upgrade philosophy, the Nightsky RX517 offers user-accessible dual SODIMM slots supporting up to 128 GB of DDR5-5600 memory, and three physical M.2 NVMe slots enabling up to 24 TB of SSD storage in RAID 0/1/5 configurations. This allows users to upgrade storage and memory capabilities to meet user changing computing requirements without replacing the laptop.

The Nightsky RX517 is loaded with an array of built-in I/O for seamless connectivity—no dongles required
  • 1x HDMI output with HDCP
  • 2x DisplayPort 2.1 over USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (one with DC-in power delivery)
  • 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
  • 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
  • 1x 2-in-1 audio jack (headphone/mic)
  • 1x RJ-45 LAN port
  • 1x DC-in jack

Networking is handled by Gigabit LAN (Realtek RTL8168/8111) and M.2 WLAN with Bluetooth, ensuring fast and reliable wireless performance.

Security features include TPM 2.0 encryption, Intel PTT, Kensington Lock and optional Anti-Spying capabilities.

Eurocom offers an optional service called the Factory-installed Offline Permanent Disconnect Option. This service is optional and includes the total removal of all connectivity and communications components inside the laptop. Doing this allows the system to be taken completely offline to ensure maximum security of sensitive data and protection of intellectual property.

This option includes the removal of the webcam, removal of the internal microphone and the removal of all internal communication capabilities- including both wireless and Bluetooth functionality. This ability to totally go off-grid helps largely in preventing security breaches that can result in unauthorized access, tampering and even worse-cyber espionage.

Despite its large 17.3" display, the Nightsky RX517 weights 2.7 kg (5.95 lbs) making it lightweight for professionals, students, and creators on the go.

From classrooms to design studios and home offices, the EUROCOM Nightsky RX517 is a futureproof, customizable, and user-upgradable laptop designed to keep up with evolving workloads—offering the performance users need today with the headroom to grow tomorrow.

This allows users to upgrade storage and memory capabilities
When I read "upgradeable", I thought you can upgrade the CPU, the GPU, etc.
And then only storage and RAM, just like 95% of the other laptops out there.
So why the bs title??

Yea same here, I was hoping to see another OEM open up their products in the way Framework has. Full on every part replaceable, serviceable, and upgradable directly from a marketplace. Non soldered ram and ssds are kind of the basic level of servisability stuff imo, especially in a 17.3" laptop where they dont have the excuse of not wanting sockets due to z-height being wasted. A little bit bigger battery or cooler is a good trade off in an ultra slim device but this is not that lol.

It would seem some have not been paying attention. A lot of laptops are being made with RAM and storage soldered onto the motherboard, very non-upgradeable.

This laptop power empowers power users to power powerpoint with more power.
