Unless there are other points that aren't RDNA2 GPU's are less power efficient and don't have FSR4 and good RT, I don't see the point of continuing this thread.

FSR4 alone makes RDNA4 worth it over RDNA2, imho.

They have fewer years of software support remaining and used models will likely be worn out.

Everything below 9000 series doesn't have FSR4. FSR 3 is awful in comparison, and you will want to be using FSR with weaker cards. Superior RT too. 9060 XT is the best choice.

700 for the 9060 XT

6800-6900's go between 500-700 (AUD)

Pretty sure 9060XTs perform pretty badly in PCIE 3.0
5 yo card, not worth 500-700, go for 9060XT 16GB. Also AMD didnt gimp the card for the pcie bus.

Full x16 lanes are nice to have. Helps preserve performance over older-specification PCIe platforms.

NtM, there's something that just feels wrong about blocking-off and wasting PCIe lanes. As, is the case for x8 and x4 lane'd cards in an x16 slot.
IIRC, that's one of the reasons companies are starting to put NVMe slots on Graphics Cards; to not waste the lanes.

Sure. The 8GB variant.
16GB is not affected so much.
Read article on techspot or watch HWU video.

6800XT/6900XT vs 9060XT 16GB
123% / 131% vs 100% in Raster
93% / 99% vs 100% using RT
295W / 302W vs 182W in gamming

At similar price I would chose the modern one.
PS: I used to have 6800XT in my old rig.
