AMD RX 9070 XT & RX 9070 non-XT thread (OC, undervolt, benchmarks, ...)

Now try it in games..

Is this OK?
Yeah, I don't usually play Overwatch, but at -110-115 it's playable and I can run an in-game benchmark at -140.

You will see when/if you watercool your card :)

Thats why I can't get near your scores! Water cooling is cheating lmao

My card is with stock air cooler :)

I just saw this:

Here you can see that the red lines are when I reduce the airflow in the case, then the VRAM temperature goes up to 84C and the result goes down and it can go down a lot further if I reduce it more or even crash (same UV/OC as picture up).
So if you cool the card it will be more stable, but I wouldn't water cool it for only 1-3% performance when I can get almost as much with better airflow in the case.

Ouch, I saw that I need to lower the VRAM clock speed a bit :D
It's now 2770 down from 2818 to be stable, summer is here...

Whats the frequency its hitting in that game? Most games i play I cant run more than -40 on the undervolt. Benchmarks are a different story.

The frequency will vary from 3250 to 3450 depending on the scene.
Marvel Rivals, Deus Ex can exceed -110 which I test, you just have to test your games, The First Descendant runs at -65 but its engine is new and very heavy.

Has anyone in here received their 9070/9070xt Alphacool waterblock yet? Getting antsy waiting for mine to move on from Switzerland to well...anywhere.

My 9070 tends to peak at ~3.4Ghz (average around 3010MHz or so) in benchmarks with -150mv, -200Mhz core clock offset and manually raising LLC and core voltage offset with an EVC2SE. Also, I've removed the power limit via shorting out the ICs that buildzoid has outlined in their video. Best score so far is 7327 in Steel Nomad.
