[BETA]New Fixes for Killer Intelligence Center 40.25.509.146 [Faked 40.25.605.0]

It's BETA until there's no more issues due to Intel new overall structure driver design :) this driver will report higher version bec. the current App from Microsoft Store have memory leak problems and they fixed it on 40.25.605.0 app. Microsoft Store should auto-update your app after installing this driver or check for updates manually ;) It's been tested for almost a week without an issue.

Changelog:-
  • Faked the driver to report higher version number to allow a newer Killer App Update from Microsoft Store to get updated to a fixed release due to memory leak on the current release. Hey try this one @tlhtsdmr !
Unfortunately, TP forums have a 10MB limit so I can't attach the file here so... I will provide a direct download link from CatBox server as it provides direct links and rarely ever expires :)

Here's the download link and a mirror from mediafire as well:-

Trying now thanks.

Hi everyone! I see there is a major boss here who has done a very good job - a HUGE RESPECT to you!

Now to the point: Please help me. I have an MSI PRO B660m-a WIFI (DDR5). It has a pcie module built into it - Intel WIFi 6 ax201. I don't want to turn on Hot-SPot at 5ghz from LAN internet. After studying different documentation I realized that this is a LAR (regional) limitation. How to remove it? Am I right? Please help me, I will be VERY grateful!

So far it works good, I noticed it is now set to automatic start delayed instead of automatic in the services settings as well as a new service called Intel network helper, also I saw I was getting this warning in event viewer, is this fine to ignore or did something happened?

Totally normal, it is fine to ignore without a doubt. They aren't critical and those usually just reporting & spamming useless data, I can disable it but I also don't want to completely remove it as they can also report critical errors if it ever happens on the future :)

I have that problem in previous versions and it is working properly now.

I joined here just to say, THIS IS GODS WORK THANK YOU it works on Intel AX210

Global BG scan blocking is revolutionary, just flip that on to "Always" and restart WLAN autoconfig from services.msc. No more frequent pesky ping spikes.
Thanks for bringing back this setting from years ago, I have no idea why Intel removed it from their drivers when so many people have been complaining about the latency issues ever since that update!

Like why do they want to intentionally ruin their great hardware with horrendous driver defaults?

i have the error this device cannot start (code 10) after a few days of usage, reverting back to my OEM driver solved it (

Hey,
I’m using the AX200 and while the driver works, I just can’t get a 5GHz hotspot to work. It always says “network band not available,” and the few times it does seem to run, my phone (which supports 802.11AX (wifi6)) doesn’t see it at all.

Would really appreciate it if this could be looked into or fixed. Thanks!

edit: its seems windows force 149 channel on 5ghz and my phone is not US

edit2: fixed my phone issue but now this ax200 is only doing 20 mhz channel width, there is no way to force 80mhz channel width ?

Hi,
You did a really great job with this. At least from my POV modding drivers is like another level type stuff. Now, is it possible to enable the 6GHz band on the windows mobile hotspot? I looked around, and it seems like Intel/and Windows are blocking it. With other wifi cards, people were able to get it work so would it be possible for intel aswell?
Thanks.

I just want more control over the Windows hotspot. Right now it only runs at 2.4GHz with 20MHz bandwidth, and even if I force it to 5GHz, it still sticks to 20MHz.
To actually get it to use 80MHz or more, I have to connect to another Wi-Fi network that already uses 5GHz with 80MHz, like my Android hotspot. Once I'm connected to that, then I can start the Windows hotspot and it will use the right settings.
Same thing when trying to force 5GHz and getting that error saying "The selected network band isn't available, select a different band and try again." The only way around it is to connect to a proper 5GHz network first, then start the hotspot.
The region setting also affects this. Windows uses the system region to decide what 5GHz channels are available. For example, if it's set to US, you only get channels starting from 149 and up on 5GHz.

Unfortunately region specific locks is still under investigating as I am still trying to find a stable way to do it, when I touch region specific lockdowns on driver levels... it gets unstable and crashes the whole OS. If I ever found a work around for this, I will surely post it here and inform you about it. :)

I want you to use MSI Utility v3, it is free, I need you to decease the the MSI limits on your Wi-Fi... see if that works out for you. I can't find any fault on driver level on your specific HWID so I guess it can be hardware specific as maybe it can't handle too much MSI interruptions. Change this value to 1 and then reboot, see if the driver will start properly or not.

thank you for the response man also good job on the driver its very stable for me minus the issues thats come with intel wifi cards i pointed above.
also about the other issue i mentioned like i cannot start 5ghz wifi hotspot until i have to connect to other 5ghz to pick up the settings ?

Has the VR mode stopped working for anyone? I updated to the latest Killer Intelligence Centre from the post on June 19th and when I press 'Start VR Mode' nothing happens :( Everything else works great (much better than the stock driver, where I didn't even have the Killer Intelligence Centre as I'm on AX210) but just thought I'd see if anyone else was having issues

Thank you for your kind words :respect: and yes, as you mentioned, you must connect to other 5Ghz to pick up the settings

I never tested this function bec. I never have VR device to test it. So I guess it pretty much experimental option, does older Killer Center app [on the main post attachment] works for you?
