This looks like any other MAP1602 drive, none of this support PLP. Also not even sure where they would place the capacitors required for such a feature

Alright, thank for your reply. Here's how they describe it on Amazon:

So is this a straight up lie? Or do they mean something different?
 
I have no idea. This sounds a bit like an AI generated text. Other than this text, nothing indicates support for PLP.

Maybe the controller has some feature that prevents total failure when power is cut, but that's not PLP in the sense that you and me think about, which requires capacitors to provide power for the controller to finish outstanding work.
