ASUS Unveils ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Real Gold Edition with 5 kg of Pure Gold

Too bad it is not polished.
Gold looks so good when polished !

I asked my bank of a 500000 usd loan. Then they asked to what. Then i showed them this card.

Those bastards immediately shredded the loan assignment........ Totally unfair right

Ugly golden brick.

Isn't the point of advancing technology is to reduce the cost? I think this goes backwards by like 500 years...

This is as much a technology product for rendering graphics as a golden diamond encrusted watch is a device for telling time. The function is incidental to the “I am rich and don’t give a fuck” statement. Same as with people who buy 1000 horsepower hypercars to drive between their villa and a golf club.

only gold?? Level up and get a platinum edition plz

this is like 400K worth of product and still no unlocked vbios what a rip off

LLT did it better with their Xbox controller. It doesn't look like an amateur made it unlike that piece of junk.

24K is not pure gold. 24K is around 375K $
24K is pure gold. He just doesn’t know the difference between a Troy ounce and an Imperial ounce.

Can I please have it with a golden anti-sag ? (I think it needs it).
You get a free construction worker with this gpu I think.

40 years after Live Aid the white saviours have all died, but the oil states and China still can't even get a fully functional GB202 chip wrapped in gold.

If I squint, it looks like rust

No fucking wrong. Always always wrong. If performance stays the same than advancing moves cost down. If performace increaseses than advancing not just adds to the cost it multiplies it several times over. You want double performance, 16x the cost GTFO and if you argue on that fuck you 32x the cost to someone who will pay. On the other hand if you want the same performance say a decade later than yes cost goes down. Did you want a faster GPU? If so you yelled at the top of your lungs to god you want GPU prices to keep going up and shouted "I want to pay 10 times for the price for a GPU please please please god make GPU costs go up". Did you do that for PC gaming? Well than you really fucked up worse than the console crowd did because you never had to the metal coding so you only ever saw a fraction of what your GPU could do while you kept upgrading.

The nasty reality is that PC gamers ruined gaming and their performance demands lead to AI. The even nastier reality is that companies like nvidia told them this would happen each step of the way and PC gamer lied and screamed "unpossible, muh gaming PC is scared and makes me a master race" and built gamings death. Till where, thanks to PC gamers, gaming will only be valid as a priced stream service later, all thanks to PC gamers. There's no way out of that now. And every PC gamer needs to stand up, take a bow, and when we all pay 200 a month to rent at 1080p 60hz low details stream say "I did that, I gamed on a gaming PC, I voted for this, now the whole world gets it" because that's what happened.

The craftsmanship quality is on par with the level you'd see from some DIY sand casting projects on certain YouTube channels.

Oh wow....don't know what so say.....I mean it's so extreme it's kind of fascinating. 7 kilos GPU, pure gold...oh boy....mozambique . Well let's see which Youtuber will be able to afford one :P

Pfff, that's what you get for being poor and needing a loan. :nutkick:

The lucky Saudi prince that will end up with it probably put it on his Amex Centurion Card, and forgot about it at the end of the month, after all who has time to bother reading a credit card statement bill

Exactly, although, I guess a nice Rolex Daytona cosmograph as a means of storing (or showcasing) wealth is more my style. Hey, one day, hopefully, I'll be able to have one. For now, my Casio will have to do

Well, this actually looks like complete fake. I mean seriously, this looks like plastic badly sprayed with yellow paint. The color is completely off from the color of real gold (no matter if it is polished gold or not). And you can even see on the first photo parts where it isn't even painted properly. I doubt the grey plastic peeking from underneath the paint on the edge is just some reflection....

These companies from this location are as cheap as f, you can tell from their marketing and customer support. They probably make these to order, and the rest is CG and physical mock-ups for the marketing dept.
