so you think air cool will still out perform this liquid cool? How so?
Can you provide more technical detail mroe then Nope please?
How weak the design is?

That thing honestly looks like a piece of crap. The Tuniq Tower 120, the Thermalright Ultima-90, and the Ultra 120A (non Extreme) are all around $45 as well. I'd recommend one of them if your looking for a $50 CPU cooler. A good liquid cooling system is gonna cost you around $150 to cool the CPU.

I'd definitely go for almost ANY air cooling solution in that price range vs. that disgusting piece of gunk.

The Tuniq Tower 120 and Ultra 120 will destroy any TT cooler currently available.

yeah i remember being all excited about all in one liquid cooling with some other product (just like this one) and it turns out that a $20 dollar air cooler kicked the crap out of it. All in one liquid cooling is usually absolute crap, sometimes even with a real 120mm rad attached... one of the reasons liquid cooling works is so well that it uses alot of water... as we all know, alot of water takes a long time to heat up compared to very little water... when you take into account that your all-in-one doesnt even have ONE 120MM radiator, and has a teeeeny amount of water in comparison to a real liquid system, you will begin to see how it can suck.

Also some of the air coolers here, expecially Big Typhoon and the Tuniq Tower, cool almost as well as an average water set-up. I recommend liquid cooling. I have it, and im never going back to air. But none of the reasons that liquid works (i.e. huuuge surface area cooling with radiators, takes heat outside the case, lots of liquid meaning that radiator doesnt dissipate as much heat) are present in this cooler, expect it to be very crappy.

damn....thanks for such technical input. very informative...

I'm just using normal talk... I could be all profesional like, but I'd rather not.

Well I have a thermal take silent water all in one cpu cooler. It works great, it outperforms my scythe ninja with 2 120mm fans. Really all in one solutions aren't bad if you get a good one. I am very happy with the thermal take silent water. I don't have any percise numbers but I know the difference was 2-3C idle and about 7-8C load. My 3800 X2 overclocked to 2.7 Ghz stock volts idles at approx 25-28C both cores, and Loads at about 40C.

I honestly don't like this product though, it shouldn't provide any better increase over cheaper non water heat sinks. The advantage of watercooling is having extra fluid that is cool cycling through your processor block, with that product you don't get that because all the water is boiling right onto of the processor. Also it uses a 80mm fan . . . yuck.

The reason i got water cooling was so that I could pretty much turn all my fans off, and still have the pc run at manageable temps.
