So this monitor I got off of my dad (17", 1280x1024) is great except that it's pretty damn dark. When I go into the Nvidia control panel to brighten things up, to get my desktop looking normal, other things are unproporiotnaly bright... and even then it's impossible to see in Doom3 which is dark in it's own right. In the monitor settings on the monitor itself everything is cranked to 100%.
Is there anything I can do to brighten this otherwise great monitor up?
