Boot Manager Help

Mostly everytime i restart my computer or turn it off then turn it back on, it brings me to a black screen sayng Missing Bootmanager blah blah blah. I insert the OS disk and reapir it and goes fine. Then it happens again and again when i restart or hibernate. I keep on reapiring it. Im using Vista 64 bit.

Is there a permanent way to repair it?

Whats wrong? the OS or Hardrive or what?

Software Windows XP pro SP2 -- vista is still crap
sounds like you might have a virus or something thats deleting it..try running trendmicro's hijackthis and posting the log up here... an easier way to fix it is by going to the repair counsle on the xp disk and typing fixboot or fixmbr...

those are the ones that are looking a little weird to me.. first off why is there a .cab file from fileplanet in there? idk if this is your download manager or something though..

and why are so many critical system files coming up as missing? i mean windows needs lsass.exe otherwise it would initiate an automatic shutdown... of course its best if someone else who's more experienced with hijackthis analyzes this..

mm i dunno, i built this computer about a month ago and thats the only problem i encounter. How do i fix all the missing files and such?
