I never done any undervolting in my life but I can’t see in which world it would increase the stability of the system. If anything it should worsen it?
If we forget about GDDR6X last gen memory module don’t really run hotter than the older GDDR5 ones. GDDR6 can reach double the speed of GDDR5 with the same power budget and hopefully the next gen will do the same.
Hi everyone,
For some weeks now I noticed some fans in my computer were studently going at 100% for few seconds and then back to normal speed.
After further investigation I noticed my gpu was running about 10 degrees higher than usual with hotspot reaching 105 degrees.

I don’t see any +200mhz but rather a base frequency of 7.73Ghz in the geekbench report. I don’t know if I get something wrong but it seems closer to +3Ghz vs base model.
This GPU was just so great. All of those low-end graphic card barely compete with it while being more expensive. Even considering new feature like DLSS or ray tracing, those new cards are so bad they can’t even use it properly.
There’s a lot of choice for every component so you shouldn’t care about heat/power consumption. However I understand people been scare by higher power bill/environmental impact. I’m from France so I know that my electricity is low carbon and not expensive but with recent inflation it might be...
