No offense, here are some things that bother me about your understanding of fans.

Bill .... I am sorry I just don't know any other way to explain "dead silent". Neither one of them exists in "dead silence". No loud hum, no rpm noise.

    Power Outage Related ?

I have a a 12-pack of batteries, one was used, 11 left. As indicated in the OP, replacing the battery would involve: Draining the cooling system Removing all "hard"rigid pipping and fittings, flowmeters, reservoir, etc Removing the MoBo "Shield" and integrated chipset water block. Of course...

    420 radiator size??

In the build I referenced earlier which has its own thread. I use cardboard cutouts. I keep a few old components around to "assist" ... I have a large reservoir and my case has a reservoir mounting bracket that is fixed horizontally. I can adjust up and down but not left and right. So I...

    Power Outage Related ?

All I had to do last time was change the time. Restarted and all was fine ... shut down, made a sammie for dinner, came back and cold booted, all was fine. Going to have to dig down and see if any settings were changed .... assuming at this point things are OK until I have a chance to so a deep...

My first build for graphic design, photo & video editing

You want to select the components to suit the software, not the other way around. Much depends on whether this will be a Hobbyists PC or a Work Station PC. This is very easy when it comes to GFX selection. Example: My most used app is AutoCAD; it uses vector based graphics and is basically...

    420 radiator size??

I used a 3 x 140 fan by (45 x 420) at the top and a 2 x 140 fan x (60 x 280) on the bottom w/ with Phanteks 140mm 150 rpm fans, 10on rads, 5 case fans. Was way overbuilt .... so most of those fans went into other builds and system delta T is still< 10C. All my fans were 25 mm. The...

No offense, here are some things that bother me about your understanding of fans.

@John Naylor not really. i rather hear a "loud" hum from motor or airflow, than some high pitched rpm noise af half the level. All I hear is dead silence .... no air flow no whines. Not to mention the fact that more than 80 % of the time, the fans have been shut off by the fan control...

    Power Outage Related ?

Have a water cooled system Win 7 Pro system, overclocked the begeezes out of it back in 2013. For safety reasons, transitioning to a new system; but keeping it around for several reasons: It runs everything I need to run and is more comfortable than the new laptop I still play games and enjoy...

What is the latest game you finished or 100%

Much different today... with the completion of the new tools, changes are coming hard and fast, community as great as ever. Worst period was after they introduced the steam version. Those folks had loads of issue, spent a lot of time IG migrating over to the native version. The user created...

What is the latest game you finished or 100%

I been playing Saga of Ryzom for over 20 years ...and many of the folks I started with are still around. Finish ? I am afraid if I"finish" I will never play again ...it has 63 skill trees that go up to 250 ...and no classes so you can max out all skills. I have 2 skills in the high 230s...
