Right ok, ive modded the bios using RBE and now flashed it back to the card...successfully........BUT i still have 1408 shaders lol :o(

not for mining its not ! i need more shaders ! its weird because if i flash it with a bios that doesnt work then i can flash the original one back ... so i can be flashed ...kinda lol

nope still wont work ! even with the drivers uninstalled !!!!!!! the atiwinflash gets about 3or4 blue boxies along, then the program window just disappears ! :o( looks like i dont get the extra shaders then ....

oh ok, i've always done it with the drivers installed ...might be where im going wrong, i'll try tonight and report back thanks !

hi no only one card in at the moment ! that is the bios from my card i opened gpuz and then saved the bios from there ...? is there a better way ?! cheers dom

Flashing hd6950 bios ?! Hi, ive got two sapphire hd6950's (the dirt 3 edition) i have read in this forum loads and have been unable to flash my modded bios to unlock the extra shaders. i have tried flashing in windows with atiwinflash and in dos with atiflash... both times the card will...

Righty ive got an ATI radeon 9550 ( 250/200) 128mb card with Elixir ram...i cannot find a compatable 9600 pro bios that matches my memory config. everyone ive tried to flast using Winflash just comes up with the error "memory missmatch" HELP i really want to flash my locked card :confused:

Right i gave up on that idea and now im using ATIWinflash to flash it. but it seems that i can't find a 9600 pro bios to match my card ?!! its an 128mb ATI radeon 9550 with Elixir ram chips...!!? i cannot find a bios that matches?!?! please help me someone :o(((

so can anyone help me ?! i have an overclocked AMD XP 2.3mhz cpu and 1gb of ram ...im using ati tool to over clock my card to 400/225...and my 3Dmark05 score is still like only 850 ?!?! is this wrong ?! i was expecting much more. but seeing as my card is locked i can't seem to get it to stay...
