Unlocking a radeon 9550

hi there im trying to flash my ATI Radeon 9550 128mb ( 250 / 200 Elixir) with a 9600 bios so i can make a perminant overclock. i have got the bottable cd from this site...
and was gonna flash with aa bios of
ATI 9600 Pro 128 MB May 9th 2003 8:24 PM Mar 14th 2004 4:51 PM 398 / 297unknown

fist off is this the right bios !??! and when i booted from the cd it came up with a error saying the card is locked ?! ive looked on here and couldnt find any answers on how to flash it ?!?

so can anyone help me ?! i have an overclocked AMD XP 2.3mhz cpu and 1gb of ram ...im using ati tool to over clock my card to 400/225...and my 3Dmark05 score is still like only 850 ?!?! is this wrong ?! i was expecting much more. but seeing as my card is locked i can't seem to get it to stay overclock ..!??! i have read too that everytime a 3d app runs the card will go back to its standard clock ?! is this right ?!

Right i gave up on that idea and now im using ATIWinflash to flash it. but it seems that i can't find a 9600 pro bios to match my card ?!! its an 128mb ATI radeon 9550 with Elixir ram chips...!!? i cannot find a bios that matches?!?! please help me someone (((

It doesn't matter if you flash it to 9600, they both have the same cores and everything, just overclock it with 9550 bios. You will get the same scores as 9600, trust me I had one.

yeah but i cant seem to overclock it because the core is locked !!!!
