They don't even include the USB-PD adapter you'd need to (fully) power these. IMO, without it they're just $20 speakers like the Pebble V1, V2 & V3, but now 3-4x the price.
Bro, relax man. I never said a PC wouldn't be better. Just that NEXT GENERATION I'll consider a console. As in, not the current consoles that you're very upset with.
Staying a PC gamer is starting to feel like a lost cause. I'll take the $500 console next gen. Hell, a $1000 console is starting to sound like a good deal compared to this gouging.
I imagine the final version will have some new minor feature version of DirectX that they totally can't backport to Win10 because <insert made up reason here>.
Slapping 1080p on the box of something enthusiast oriented in 2019 is pretty much a guarantee it's not going to have great sales figures. They're not going to bother focusing on it.
You could always go with a 24" @ 1440p165 if you want that crisp hotness. Despite being a TN panel I really like...
