The 6990 is the more efficient and cooler card, its fan however makes it noisier.

The package version is not earlier, the third decimal designation is for the INF which is included. They are all 8.84 drivers, 8.84.2 and 8.84.3 are all part of the 8.84 driver build, the set in this thread being the newest. A newer package would be something like 8.841.0.

YES it works in TF2, I had ATItraytools running and it was causing the crash. So your new tool and ATT don't get along. Works nice though.

Have you tried doing it in Windows? Open a command prompt and use ATIWinflash.exe like you would the normal DOS version. Try unlocking it first. Also did you use the -pcie command to get the proper enumeration number for the slot the card is in?

Atiflash -unlockrom 0 Why would you use 1? You don't have dual cards do you?

Use -unlockrom in ATIflash.

Those commands work with ATIwinflash also. You can use ATIwinflash from a command prompt in Windows just like you would DOS.

It has an updated OpenGL driver and CCC, it also has updated stream driver.

Originally for the 6990 and 6700 series, uploading modified version that includes all cards. If you have the 11.4 Preview drivers installed you must remove them before installing these. Win7/Vista x86/x64, http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0KBLP1B0 Win7/Vista Mobility x86/x64...
