Danamics LM10 Liquid Metal Processor Cooler Now Yours for 280 Euro

can you find where thats stated? everything i've read about this cooler, they were always talking about no fan being needed.

I actually havent seen any fan/no fan discussion about this cooler... But just from looking at it, I can tell that you will need some sort of a fan for a high end set-up. Passive cooling would probably only be possible on lower end/non-OC'd chips.

Its basically a ULTRA 120 with an elecromagnetic pump attached to the heatpipes (and metal flowing through it).

I totally agree, even if it has liquid metal flowing through its weins, it will need something to cool the liquid down and transport the heat away from it.

This thing has got to be good. There are no pre-release reviews or anything. And the price..... well. Its crazy.

Its gotta be good, surely!!! :)

Its only toxic if you eat it,maybe get the french airplane eating guy to try it for toxicity.

Yeah and how many times has someone cracked open thier heatpipes because they were thirsty  but seriously that stuff reacts with water to create heat and if someone deliberately pours it out it will combust with any water nearby, even water vapour.

getting them shipped to the states is an issue, as Customs most likely wont allow it to be shipped intact. So upon receipt in the Us it would have to be filled after the fact. This would make a failure point in the pipes IMHO. We shall have to wait and see what exactly they do about this concept!

thats what killed the OCZ Phase change unit, the fact that it couldnt fly on planes with the hazardous materials inside it.

InnocentCriminal: look 2 posts up :p

But seriously, there is no excuse anymore for bringing review this late, if they ever are going to. Tease and tease, maybe someone will buy them before the review that can't be good. You don't keep good news you want to tell them instantly, no matter how unfinished it is.

:O

That's messed up.

;)

I prefer them without the bra.

bras are there to be taken off. that is their purpose.

liquid metal heatsinks... just cant compare to boobies.

*leaves to fix laptops for two good looking women*

Agreed...The best part of a bra is taking it off. :)

Wow! What an epic failure! I was expecting big things from this liquid metal cooler, and it looks to be on par with the S1283 for about 20 times the price!
