also the 15" mbp uses a 80w adaptor as well as the 17" and the 13" use a 60 the air uses a 45w adaptor. most pc laptops use 70, 90, and 120

The wattage ratings on the adapters shouldn't have to do with anything. A laptop that needs only 60w isn't going to suddenly explode if an adapter rated at 120w is plugged into it, it will just consume the 60 watts.

There are already external batteries designed to be used with PCs. And they are pretty pricy too.
 
these are pretty nice. its the fact that they extend life past 24 hours, is whats sexy. and that USB charger port, thats awesome.
