XFX to Enter Power Supply Market with 850 W Black Edition

I can't make out the last couple digits in the UL number so I can't tell who manufactures it :( better pictures here.

Yeah, looks like a modular ver of corsair's.

Anyone else have the corsair 850w? On the inside mine is covered almost halfway by a piece of plastic right under the fan. I haven no idea why it's there.

it's to redirect air into the power supply.

Looks awesome. Love it.

Looks "cool" but I'd need to see a review on it.

Lifetime warranty ?

Lol doubt it.

makes my Chieftek 600 W PSU look like simple box in the case... :D

if that psu has the classic double lifetime warranty...

I doubt it. it's probably 5 years tops like Corsair.

ohhh 70A , maybe in go buy this PSU just cuz i like the design but it seems there is tow fans bottom fan with 135 mm and look like in third picture it is the 2nd fan maybe 80 mm size setup in the back of the PSU

there is only one intake fan on this power supply.

I like the design. And modularity. Now if I were to make a green themed rig, I'd get that PSU.

A cooler looking version of the Corsair and PC Power and Cooling 850 Watt Power Supply with modular connectivity. I like it!

I was thinking that too i wish they made one either in red (ofcourse like 90% of the world seems to want) and curiously a white?? I duno think that would look cool too.

Dam, that PSU looks nice.:)

Still love my OCZ tho.:)

did you check the 3thrd picture clearly , it is not same fan size or maybe they are not same PSU

Nice, hope the efficiency ratings are good.

Nice looks like a sick psu. I have never owned an xfx product before but I really wanna give them a try someday.

reminds me of an XBox.

It looks like E104405 to me. Seasonic?

looks more like E134405 or 06. I searched the ULOD for XFX or Pine Group and there was no listing.

I thought it was E134406 at first, but I can find no UL number with "E1344XX".

I have never seen Channelwell make a housing like that and almost if not all their power supply fans are bottom side and i'm not even sure if Seasonic is manufacturing for anybody anymore. one thing I really like is the grills on the fan and rear exhaust.

I am curious who is making it?

If someone buys one, post the UL number please.

Pic 3 is a shot of the product packaging. :)

...we find its UL certification mark, the above point No. E104405-generation plant is the Rhine. This means that XFX is M12D 850 power supply is not "TPN" 850 a. XFX quite a high starting point.

And when you search "E104405" in the UL database it comes up with Seasonic as the manufacturer, so it sounds like XFX are ready to contend with Corsair and these should be some very nice PSUs
