Your budget is large.

The key is what main board. As of today, the abit max 975 board is the top 975 set now, but the evga 680i board is the top nvidia set now.

Asus put out their striker board, but it fails compared to the evga. Gigabyte, abit, and dfi have yet to put their 680i options to market. So it's worth waiting.

If you want ati, go the abit 975 option, if you want nvidia go the evga option. But if you wait 2 months or so you should have better options.
